Grocery Stores in Clayton, GA

6 locations found near Clayton

“The Ingles in Clayton, Georgia it's one of the two places that I stopped there for travel supplies, including food (the other being the Walmart down US 23) when headed toward a campsite nearby, or to Franklin, Highlands or Cashiers, NC. I have an RV fridge, so it's very easy to buy small refrigerated items from Ingles, often their house brand items like Laura Lynn provolone cheese. The location within Clayton is quite convenient, and the parking generous enough that I can take a few moments for brief tasks in my converted cargo van. It's a reliable, accessible grocery store. I have since the last visit obtained an Ingles card.”

“Before the remodeling, rarely were they out of something I needed. Since, they've been out of multiple items. Hopefully, it's a learning curve for a new stock manager.”

“Best cheeseburgers in the United States. And I know because I’ve traveled the United States and Canada. I’m an expert on cheeseburgers. I always said In& Out in California has the best, but these are better.”

“In Clayton, Dollar General is a much better place to stop for groceries than Ingle's, price-wise. This Dollar General is more organized than most locations I've visited, and they have kind employees. They also sell bagged ice and have a Redbox machine”

“I have to admit that I'd rather go to this Ingles than the one in Franklin. It seems that they have a better variety here. I've been shopping here off and on for about six months, and I'm beginning to find out where all the goodies are. So, if you're a newbie, realize that their brains may not think like yours. For instance, I would put every single gluten-free frozen food in the same place. But you will find GF pie crust right beside the regular gluten-filled crusts. Similarly, I found a gorgeous gluten-free cake close to the old favorite frozen Pepperidge Farm cakes and fruit-filled turnovers. (MAN, those were good; I miss them!) Some cheeses are found in the same area where veggies are, and some are all the way at the other end of the store, in the dairy section. If you LOVE you some Palmetto Pimiento Cheese spread, as hubby does, be aware that it is also on the last aisle in dairy, instead of on the back wall on the other end, where you will find Ruth's, etc. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I really have enjoyed all my interactions with them. The store is always clean, as well. Check it out for yourself! I think you'll like it.”
