“We just moved from Fort Wainwright to Fort Benning.
Fast forward to today: our team from Apple Moving was absolutely incredible. The team leader John was so professional. He arrived ahead of the other two members of the crew to walk us through the paperwork, tell us exactly what everything meant, show us how to go about getting claims sent up if we needed to, and how they would go about unloading everything so we were prepared (we have a baby). Then, Jordan and Guy showed up, and it got even better! They started at 10:30 AM (gave us an hour heads up), and had our entire house unloaded into the house by 2:30 PM ahead of the rain! They handled all of our belongings like they were their own, and John made sure to inspect everything coming from the crates so we could take pictures in the event we needed to file any claims. They spent extra time asking us about previous damages to ensure our belongings were in good condition, keeping everything wrapped so there were fewer potential damages to our doors, and organizing our totes to various parts of the house for more efficient unloading. John stayed a while after to talk to us about his experience with various companies over the last several decades and to highlight how important good leadership is to him and to any company that wants to take care of our military members’ belongings. To anyone reading this: you will be in such good hands if you get this crew.
PS I noticed that John had one of the crew members leave before him to ensure the wooden crates didn’t get rained on. I thought that was exceptional because of how often I read of mold exposure in some of the military moves (not Apple Moving related). It showed great care for both the company’s belongings and the future families’ contents in those crates.
Moving is so stressful for us, and we will have to do it again next year (location tbd). I felt so good about today that I just needed to share something positive.”
