“The only issue we had is you couldn't pay cash and they put a hold on your card so it's like you pay double the money and then you get your money back after you leave but you have to wait 10 business days and not everybody has that much money and we're rolling on a budget because we had to be at the hospital. So now we're still paying for it waiting on our 10 days to be up to get the money back. Other than that thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Beautiful antebellum style mansion. The original pink marble butler's pantry to the original coke machine. It's a nice nice place. Great for weddings and family reunions. The craftsmanship of the house is just 1 of a kind. Just a beautiful place”

“The Wynn House was absolutely amazing. Brooke, Donovan, Terry, Troy and everyone that we worked with was nothing short of spectacular. Long story short the weekend before our wedding, my wife’s Uncles house, The Gordonido just down the street, had a terrible fire and they lost the house. Absolutely devastating for them and the family and now we had no where to get married. Without skipping a beat, the night of the fire, right there on the front lawn, Brooke and The Wynn House came to our aid and with a simple phrase said, “We got you”. Over the next 7 days before our wedding, The Wynn House worked non stop to help make our wedding dreams come true. It was truly a night to remember and no amount of thanks could ever re pay the kindness and love from everyone there. A million times over would recommend entrusting your weddings dreams to Brooke and The Wynn House!”

“Columbus Got Game is a secret treasure in Columbus and a must stop. There are free video games and board games to play. The owner is great. An awesome place to have conversation and have fun. It’s a one of a kind community outreach program for all ages. I stopped by and tried it out and I was blessed to be surrounded by such great people. I will definitely be coming back.”

“We had our annual Christmas party here today and what a blast we had! The atmosphere almost takes you back in time a bit with how it is decorated! We had our own server, Karen, who went above and beyond for our group of 20. The food was delicious!!! Them chicken fingers were cooked perfectly. Tristan was also very patient and kind to the kids when picking out arcade prizes. We are so pleased and had a great time…Will definitely be back! :)”

“We stayed here for 2 nights while in town for our son’s basic training graduation. Firstly, Mamie (the owner and hostess) was delightful and so accommodating. Her blueberry pancakes were a trip highlight! The house is in a convenient location, close enough to the army base and close to the downtown area with lots of restaurants nearby. Super interesting historical info having to do with the family and the home. We would definitely stay here again.”

“It may not have as many of the same extras you look for in a Marriott property. The rooms are fairly small and basic. That being said, the architecture of the building is unique and I personally got really excited just driving up to the entrance. You will definitely not be let down by the M Club. I have been running into several being renovation, limited hours, not open on weekends, sub par food and snacks. This one was nice. Even though they did not have a weekend breakfast and snacks option in the M Club the onsite restaurant Houlihan’s is amazingly. Again, really enjoyed the atmosphere and architecture. Also, happened to find my new favorite beer, Red Jacket. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.”

“Great service from the front desk. Jasmine checked us in, entertained us at the bar, and shared helpful information about the local area. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, as some of the eggs appeared to be frozen.”

“I cannot say enough about the customer service and excellence (attentiveness, cleanliness, and culture) of Staybridge Suites here on Whittlesey Rd in Columbus. Moving to a new hometown can feel overwhelming. Having to navigate a transitional period of a month in an extended stay adds a whole new layer to that process. The helpfulness of the team, from the front desk and meal teams, to housekeeping and management -- all wonderful. Amina (spelling?) in particular, is a breath of fresh air! We feel incredibly thankful for the warm welcome and commitment to making this stay enjoyable.”

“I had an excellent stay at Candlewood Suites in Columbus, Georgia! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a full kitchen setup that made longer stays so convenient.

The hotel itself is quiet, safe, and well-maintained, with great amenities like the lending locker, fitness center, and laundry facilities that are a huge plus. The location is also perfect—close to shopping, restaurants, and Fort Benning, but still tucked away enough to be peaceful.

What really stood out was the atmosphere of genuine hospitality. Everyone on staff—from the front desk to housekeeping—was kind, attentive, and truly cared about guests having the best experience possible.

If you’re in Columbus for business, visiting family, or here for Fort Benning, I highly recommend staying here. Candlewood Suites has definitely earned my 5 stars!”

“The room was nice. Sleeper sofa was dated but worked. The light over the bathroom sink was dim. It needs to be changed to an LED and a fixture that lights the area better. There was two remotes for the TV. One for turning it on and the second one for getting to the channels. There should only be one remote for the TV.

The breakfast variety was best that I have seen in a long time. Choice of biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage as well as cereals, yogurt etc.”
