“Great service. I'm a beginner bowler and he took the time to make sure my new ball was drilled correctly. He took the time to have me roll several balls. Even gave me some tips on how to hook the ball.Used the new ball and I was hooking the ball no problem. He fixed another ball I had bought from another pro shop. Works great now.I highly recommend. BTW this stars and strikes is great. Lanes are in great condition and arcade has a ton of good games.”

“I have always had wonderful customer service at Academy sports I have to say. However, today that was not the case. I called Academy to ask a member of their customer service team if they could please check a 30% off rack (I gave details of the only four items that were on the rack in 4 colors and explained the exact location of the rack) and I ask if they could please tell me if they had a particular size because I had purchased one size too small the day prior. I spoke to a lady named Anna Elise. I explained, and she tried to put me off on looking on the website… And then explained how I could order the right size and then I could have it sent to the store, then bring the item I had back in and exchange for them once they came. All that is fine and good if they didn't have the size in-store ... however, I did not want to go to that trouble if they had the actual item there. I asked her could she physically go look and she told me she could not do that right now. I asked her if she could possibly get me someone that could do it, and apparently there was nobody else that could according to her. She ask for the sku number on the pants. I gave her the number on the tag but I told her that giving her the SKU number and having her look them up in her system would not give me the answer at 100%... I explained that I've had people do that before and then you go to the store and the item is not there or they can't find it. So I wanted someone to physically look before I drove down there. That's so simple to me. I understand if she was the only person maybe at the register, but put me on hold and find another customer service representative to go check maybe?! She did everything in her power to avoid helping me. I was absolutely blown away when I hung up the phone. Why was my request so difficult? I was very disappointed.***editedI called back to the store again and spoke with someone named Aiden and he was super glad to help me and was extremely nice and polite ..He went the extra mile and even apologized and said that the girl that I dealt with was on the register and she probably couldn't go look at the time... I told him I understood completely about that. I just wanted her to maybe put me on hold and find someone else… he agreed that she should've done that, but he still apologized for her doing it and helped me out. ?”

“The associates I rencountered at this store are a dream! I was unfamiliar with the area as we were in Cummings, GA for a soccer tournament. We forgot a few items, so I went online to buy what we needed. Unfortunately, I selected the wrong store from my phone using the store locator option. Needless to say, the items were NOT there when I arrived to pick up my order. A wonderful associate went above and beyond to help me. He asked a young lady to check storage for one of the items. To my surprise she did without complaint and brought out several options for me to consider. Then, the young man went to the sales floor and found the other items I needed, offered to call the other store to cancel that pick up order all so I wouldn’t have to drive out of my way in an unfamiliar area. I have NEVER received this kind of service at any sporting goods store on my end of town! Unfortunately, I did not get the representatives’ names. However, their kindness, compassion, and above-and-beyond customer care is not forgotten.”
