16 Westbrook Rd, DahlonegaMy pet Cairn Terrier was suffering from a bad skin allergy. She was up all night scratching and biting. MyVCA in Roswell, Pet’s are People Too, could not see her right away. I brought her into VCA Dahlonega, getting her in was no problem. She was seen by Dr.Helvie. He treated her for Priritus and he was terrific. His staff was great. The office followed up the next day to check on her condition. The staff really showed concern for the wellbeing of my dog. I would highly recommend them.

21 N Grove St Unit C and D, DahlonegaLook no more, this coffee spot is serving tasty coffee and delicious pastries that I would say is a must stop if you are in Dahlonega. I ordered a cup of black drip coffee and a croissant and both hit the spot! They use fantastic coffee and the baristas know exactly what they are doing! The drip coffee was probably the best I've had on my GA vacation so far and it was a bigger coffee shop than expected. The decor was very nice and the kids books were a plus for my 4 year old. Overall great experience and a must have for coffee lovers.

87 N Chestatee St, DahlonegaI will definitely be back next time I’m in Dahlonega, I want to try more on the menu but today for lunch I had the grilled honey lemon pepper chicken sandwich with the pub crisps, so delicious. It was the best grilled chicken, not dry at all! The staff were very attentive and loved the atmosphere!! Also had it with a Smithwick Irish red ale, so good and I was able to taste it before ordering.

53 W Main St, DahlonegaI just love the ambiance with the whole tree vibe and the really fun speakeasy downstairs. I think it's a cool gimmick but not at all obtrusive. I also love everybody who works here, I feel like they're always personable and on top of things. And the coffee is just good! Mostly, though, for me, it's a place I sometimes sit for hours just to get something done I might not have the direction to finish at home.

Three Sisters Vineyards & Winery
439 Vineyard Way, DahlonegaWe visited late on a Sunday 4pm. They close at 5 but we still got to enjoy a tasting. We really enjoyed the Cab Franc & the Cab Merlot blend. Very impressed that all grapes and wine are all from this vineyard as most in N GA source grapes from other regions. After visiting we agreed this is one of our top vineyard in Georgia. Service was great and even had the opportunity to meet with the owner/winemaker and listened to the passion she has for making excellent wines. Highly recommend!!

The staff went above and beyond, making our visit easy even with a 2-month-old in tow. They gave great appetizer suggestions: the Pork Belly and the Elotes were phenomenal! For dinner, the Shrimp Scampi was flavor-packed and the Salmon was cooked perfectly. Great spot for high-quality food and outstanding service!

1810 S Chestatee, DahlonegaHeld the rehearsal dinner for my daughter's wedding here. It was a great spot, we had a private area to ourselves, with dedicated servers and a bar tender. The atmosphere was quaint, and we even had an outside patio to sit on and enjoy the evening. We were a little cramped with almost 50 people, would have been perfect for like 40 and less. The food was awesome. Chicken Parmesan and flank steak were great choices, with veggies and potatoes. It was all served family style, which as it turned out, everyone liked better than individual plates. The only thing that went wrong, was the timing of the service. I think they were short staffed, so it was taking a few extra minutes to get the drinks and food started. But, when you asked for something they brought it right away. And the staff was very friendly, and once the food started flowing, we didn't care, we were just having a great time. My hat's off to this place. If I'm ever back in the area I'll come back for dinner, just me and the wife! ?

Lumpkin County Animal Shelter
1363 Red Oak Flats Rd, DahlonegaThe staff of the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter is caring and loving towards the animals that come through their doors. Some of the pets elderly and some arrive unhealthy, but the staff takes great care of them, gets them up to parr and then tries to find a home that will be a good match for animal. These people really care. They keep a clean facility and put all of their heart into the animals. Just wish the county would get them a larger space!
