16 Westbrook Rd, DahlonegaMy pet Cairn Terrier was suffering from a bad skin allergy. She was up all night scratching and biting. MyVCA in Roswell, Pet’s are People Too, could not see her right away. I brought her into VCA Dahlonega, getting her in was no problem. She was seen by Dr.Helvie. He treated her for Priritus and he was terrific. His staff was great. The office followed up the next day to check on her condition. The staff really showed concern for the wellbeing of my dog. I would highly recommend them.

Incredible staff who are kind and efficient, EXCELLENT coffee, really great lighting and seating in the space, but most importantly, AWESOME seasonal menus. Me and my girlfriends get so excited for the new menus to drop because Jethro’s never misses. I had a fig and cinnamon coffee back in November that I still think about. Great bang for the buck and always worth stopping in for coffee.

While other wineries in the area can seem a little over-commercialized, Three Sisters remains a quiet, yet well-run winery. Great outdoor covered deck overlooking the vineyards and a lake.

I got a blueberry basil cold brew and it was delicious, the employees were telling me about the area and even giving me recommendations which I appreciated. If you’re in the area I recommend stopping by, you won’t regret it! Also the ambience is very welcoming and cozy, nice little place to relax.

The staff went above and beyond, making our visit easy even with a 2-month-old in tow. They gave great appetizer suggestions: the Pork Belly and the Elotes were phenomenal! For dinner, the Shrimp Scampi was flavor-packed and the Salmon was cooked perfectly. Great spot for high-quality food and outstanding service!

59 E Main St Unit 2, DahlonegaI noticed the 82 health score rating tucked behind a shelf by the door when I entered, but my friend recommended the place, so I stayed. The staff was very friendly. I ordered the Brisket Sandwich combo, which came out fast but wasn't warm (not fresh or even rewarmed before being served), so that impeded my experience. Somewhat fatty, but overall decent meat and sandwich (6.5/10). Not a lot of fries, but they were seasoned very well. $14ish dollars for an okay-ish meal.

1363 Red Oak Flats Rd, DahlonegaThe staff of the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter is caring and loving towards the animals that come through their doors. Some of the pets elderly and some arrive unhealthy, but the staff takes great care of them, gets them up to parr and then tries to find a home that will be a good match for animal. These people really care. They keep a clean facility and put all of their heart into the animals. Just wish the county would get them a larger space!
