Bangkok Haus Restaurant Helen
689 Edelweiss Strasse, HelenWe had the Spring Rolls, Orange Sesame Chicken and the Bamee Beef Noodle Soup, all was delicious! It's a nice place, great music, and friendly staff. They were busy, understaffed but still so attentive and friendly. We dealt with Adam the manager mostly, and he was amazing. Great customer service. We will be back!

Chattahoochee Dog Haus
8016 S Main St #3620, HelenWe stopped by Chattahoochee Dog Haus while visiting Helen and really enjoyed the food. I had the bratwurst hot dog with sauerkraut, and it was delicious. The large order of French fries was fresh, hot, and a generous portion—definitely enough to share. The food was the highlight of our visit.
The service, however, wasn’t very welcoming. The employee seemed like she didn’t really want to be there and wasn’t especially friendly or helpful to us or the other customers while we were waiting.
One thing to know before you go is that this is outdoor seating only. There are a few wooden picnic tables on a small deck, so seating is limited. They also only offer canned drinks, so don’t expect fountain drinks with ice.
Our total was around $30 for one bratwurst hot dog, one large order of fries, and two canned drinks. While I wish the customer service had been better, the food was good enough that I would come back just for the hot dog and those excellent fries.

The brats were absolutely amazing, packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and tasted incredibly authentic. The beer selection was delicious and paired perfectly with every dish.
Honestly, every single thing we tried was excellent. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. It’s one of those places that feels cozy, welcoming, and leaves you already planning your next visit.
Highly recommend if you love great food, cold beer, and a true German dining experience!

Alpine Brew Deck
11 River St, HelenWe ordered the Alpine Bowl. What a tasty surprise. I highly recommend it. The beer is perfectly priced considering Helen is such a huge tourist destination. We sat alongside the creek watching tubers float by. Pretty entertaining.
