Pet Grooming
Blacktie&Tails
2604 GA-17, Young HarrisWe just dropped our little fur baby off for the third time to this wonderful woman and each time she makes me feel so comfortable. She takes the time (even over all the barking) to stop and greet our doggie and speaks to every dog so kindly, just like they are people (which I love). Each visit she takes the time and asks what we’re looking for in a cut and she always makes him look so handsome (I might be slightly biased). ? We didn’t have a groomer in the area before and I’m so glad we found her last year driving by. Highly recommend?

Pet Care
Lake Chatuge Animal Hospital
1619 GA-17, Young HarrisI had what I thought was an emergency with my senior dog. I called at 7:30 a.m. Gracie was seen by Dr.Marshall by about 8 a.m.. It turned out not to be the emergency that I had imagined. Gracie was checked out and we were shortly on our way home with reassurances. Both Gracie and I were treated with the utmost kindness and professionalism. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else!
I just realized that this never got posted, so it occurred several months ago! However, I was back there today with Gracie for routine care and had the same excellent service.

Pet Sitting & Training
Laurel Hill Pet Lodge & Spa
737 Laurel Hill Rd, Young HarrisI'm writing to follow up on our recent visit to Laurel Hill Pet Lodge with our GSP puppy, Bo, for his nail trim. Bo has a history of anxiety surrounding nail trims, making the experience stressful for both him and us. We were understandably apprehensive going in.
However, our experience with Kaylee exceeded all expectations. Her calm and patient demeanor immediately put Bo at ease. She handled him with such skill and gentleness, expertly and quickly trimming and shaping his nails. The entire process was remarkably smooth and stress-free, a far cry from our previous attempts. Bo didn't even whimper!
We were so impressed by Kaylee's expertise and her obvious affection for animals. It's clear she possesses a rare combination of technical skill and an intuitive understanding of canine behavior. We wholeheartedly recommend Kaylee to anyone seeking a reliable and compassionate groomer for their pet, especially those with anxious or challenging dogs. We will certainly be returning to Laurel Hill Pet Lodge and requesting Kaylee's services for all of Bo's future nail trims.
Thank you Kaylee!

Crane Creek Vineyards
1040 Crane Creek Road, Young HarrisAn Absolute Favorite – A Beautiful Vineyard Escape!
My friend and I stayed at The Vinekeeper’s Cottage twice this month while renovating a home nearby, and it has easily become one of our favorite getaways.
The cottage itself is creative, intimate, and warm, set up with intentional care and high-quality details—from the premium cookware to the plush towels. The contactless, keyless entry made arrival completely seamless. It offers the perfect balance of privacy: it is incredibly quiet and peaceful for morning and evening strolls yet ideally situated so you can easily walk right to the property's tasting areas.
We loved the convenience of walking to the Farmhouse on Fridays and the Stone House on Saturday for more of their excellent wine and live music. The hosts even provided us with reserved seating for the entertainment on our second trip, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Even with the weekend events happening nearby, the cottage remained a private, quiet sanctuary.
We spent our time cooking, relaxing, and soaking in the outdoor hot tub while taking in the beautiful vineyard views. And as a very special bonus, they provided us with a complimentary bottle of one of their exceptional wines to enjoy at the cottage, which was such a welcoming surprise! The hospitality from Jes and the team was top-notch. It was a truly lovely experience, and we will definitely be back!
