“Very nice park with a trail and multiple facilities. My only concern is that the rest room at the skate park was not clean, Teens were smoking and had used spray painting. Needs monitors or police to check randomly to stop this from happening in the future.”

“In this summer, we had our wedding ceremony in the sunporch and reception in the Northwoods Pavilion. Both events went great. The pavilion was surrounded by the beautiful trees, and was tucked away. Abigail was very patient with our visits and questions. Their staff members were also supportive. Overall, it's a very pleasant experience.”

“Everyone was very nice and helpful. My fiance and I were in a bad spot and they allowed us a voucher to be able to stay where we were,.We didn't have many clothes or food and they took care of that also. They also have someone there that will help you apply for food stamps and Medicaid. In the waiting area a lady from Waffle House was there offering positions in any area you were residing.Great place.”

“I like the variety of classes and the instructors are excellent. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Robert always greets me by name.
The only suggestion is to ask staff to enforce the rules- no kids on the track, don’t sit on the weight machines and play with your phone or socialize with other members. Members are frustrated when this happens and feel uncomfortable asking members to move on.”

“We volunteered at this location a few weeks ago with our women Aspire group and volunteers from my company. We spent the day helping them organize their stock and labeling it correctly. It was a very enlightening experience going through all the donations. This organization provides diapers, clothing, and other baby items and items mothers may need for themselves. Families can come in and shop for the things they need for their new baby. The staff was very friendly. I look forward to volunteering again.”

“This is currently one of my favorite local parks to go to. It is quite large and includes/connects to a lot of facilities: skate park, dog park, large playground, paved trials, farmer's market on the weekend, food trucks, Pernoshal park for basketball courts, soccer fields, Dunwoody community garden. There is good number of parking places and EV charging spots. Unlike other parks outside of Dunwoody, you do have to pay to charge.”

“We hosted a community program at Alif Institute, and it was a great venue for the group! Their building offers ample space for events with plenty of tables and chairs, and their large projection screen was great for presentations. Hosting a community-focused class surrounded by Alif's exhibitions and market was a great addition to the experience. Their staff was very welcoming as well! I absolutely recommend working with Alif if you need a venue for a community event, whether it's a social gathering, educational program, or anything else.”

“My experience at the Aikido Association of Atlanta has been nothing short of exceptional. The many instructors are highly qualified and skilled, making learning the art of Aikido both effective and enjoyable. Safety is a top priority, and the dojo provides a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all levels, where everyone feels like family, even newcomers. My family and I are proud to be members, and we look forward to continuing our Aikido journey here for a lifetime.”

“Took awhile to get Lily, but she was worth the wait. The staff is also friendlier and more helpful than the ones at the Chamblee-Dunwoody location. The paperwork and application were filled out online. Not much of a wait when compared to the other location.”

“Beautiful large farm & barn, part of DeKalb County Parks & Recreation system, with Atlanta Audubon (removing invasive species & planting native ones), Little Creek Horse Park Foundation (supporting entire site; membership & volunteer opportunities!), Stride Ahead Equine Facilitated Therapy & Learning (varied, flexible, & fun volunteer opportunities!!), Atlanta Riding Academy (lessons in hunt seat & jumping), Mark's Riding School (lessons in general equitation & dressage), and Saturday morning meetings of "Pony Crew" club for kids -- all operating at a high level of quality & concientiousness. Strong barn director, assistant director, & staff adhere to best practices for the safety & health of the horses (& safety of the humans, too). Privately owned and school horses are boarded here. Multiple pastures, mostly Bermudagrass (& I think some crabgrass). Hay, feeds, balancers, & supplements, plus winter blanketing, provided to horses according to owners' instructions (& horses' needs). Nice outdoor arena with lots of jump and cavaletti equipment. Well-maintained, large, indoor arena (I think traditional dressage arena size) with soft combination footing. I've ridden horses off and on all my life & am in graduate school in equine science. I took dressage lessons here for 3+ years 30 years ago, resumed 2 years ago, and find it super therapeutic. I also enjoy volunteering for Stride Ahead. The best way to get information is to visit, park your car inside the motion-operated gate, walk to the far barn entrance, and look for a staff member to show you in what area of the barn each organization operates. Go to that area and get phone numbers from posters on the walls. Do NOT feed, give treats to, or touch any horses when you visit because what you think a horse might like could make him or her very sick, plus you never know which horses like to "nip at" or bite your fingers. But DO visit and look at the website! ”

“When I first received a call from Dress For Success, I was so excited. I had heard about this place for years, but never thought to explore it. I became discouraged about where my life was headed and how far I had to climb. This place offers free classes to earn Certificates in various fields of study. The company knew exactly how to make you feel comfortable with such a warm welcome. It may be in a new location, and the office is very well designed , organized and professional. I really appreciate the encouragement , support , and energy the staff provided. I felt so blessed to have this at such a great time of need and surly after such a great fall in my life. The specialized taylor and expert who made sure you felt good in every aspect of the suiting experience was by far gifted in her expertise. I was shedding tears of joy by the time she was done with me. Her hair was the color of the finest silver, and she spoke in such an elegant tone. This business definitely has and continues to fulfill its purpose and needs in the metro Atlanta area! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Job Ladies!”

“I received rental assistance from BCM Georgia and Johnathan Putnam was my program coordinator. The property management company that I rent from has always been difficult in the past and I only had 5 days to get all the necessary paperwork completed and approved by both BCM and my property management team. It took a lot of emails and coordinating, but Johnathan was very good about responding to emails and answering my questions. He worked very quickly to get everything done and even went above and beyond by providing a tracking number for the check that went out to the landlord.I am so grateful to BCM Georgia for helping me. In the last five months, I was laid off, my son was shot (he is ok), my car broke down, and I ran out of unemployment. I've been looking for a job and applied everywhere and still have not been able to get anything. It really is hard out here. Especially for someone like me who is new to Georgia and dont really have connections. I am so thankful to God that BCM was able to come through for me.I also want to thank Wykell Brown for responding to the site emails to let me know when BCM was accepting applications. Even though its first come first serve, I appreciate having some idea of when to apply.Again, thank you Johnathan for not treating me like "another number" on the help list. I appreciate the kindness and the efforts you gave to me. Have a blessed day!”
