“While the name Kinship Butcher and Sundry might not proclaim the promise of a decent cuppa, it does serve respectable coffee. Perhaps it’s the sundry that should be more focused on in this instance. The price is even competitive with its loftier rivals. A most unexpected triumph.
The outdoor seating proves quite a delight, granting one the pleasure of observing the crisp fall air go about its business, entirely indifferent to human affairs. There is, without fail, a dog or two wandering about, each presenting itself as if auditioning for the role of “Most Pettable Creature in the County.” One perhaps oblige to that.
Should one, find oneself in need of exorbitantly priced butchered meats, the establishment hosts such wares with operatic flair, though I remain steadfastly loyal to my coffee alone, focusing on Sundry instead of the Butcher part.
The locale affords a most agreeable evening stroll through Virginia Highland at sunset. The streets glow with a warm, mellow light that suggests the world is briefly at peace. But of course, serenity is a fickle mistress.
For as darkness gathers, so too does the impending doom of the bar scene. Middle-aged revelers and collegiate youths alike emerge from the shadows, converging with the enthusiasm of soldiers charging into battle, though with considerably worse aim. Their voices swell into a great, unrestrained roar, as though each believes himself the tragic hero of his own ale soaked soliloquy.”
“Every time I go to Patton's the meat is fresh and the employees are eager to help. Love this place! If you're looking for fresh meat and friendly people, this is your place.”

“Mid East Fresh Market is my go-to place for high-quality and fresh ingredients. They always have a great selection of chapati, sardines, samosas, lamb, and so much more. The food is always fresh and clean, and you can tell they take pride in offering top-notch products. The store is well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Whether you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern ingredients or just want something delicious, this market never disappoints. Highly recommend!”

“Decided to stop in for lunch after husband took note on an earlier trip to check it out. Was not expecting such a top notch meal! The pork chop was juicy with delicious flavor! Goat cheese mashed potatoes, always! And yet as a lunch it didn't feel heavy. True masters!”
“A wonderful butcher shop and a great resource in the neighborhood. They carry and custom cut very high quality products so don’t compare prices to grocery store chains. Fresh Prime beef, heritage pork, sushi grade salmon and tuna. Their frozen case is extensive with foie gras, red shrimp, veal shanks, sausages, premade sides, etc. It’s hard to make a decision with all the good choices.
We recently had a Duroc pork loin and they butterflied it to perfection for us to make a porchetta . It was outstanding!
Great service and nice knowledgeable people. We are regulars and happy to support this neighborhood gem.”
“You find everything you need, there is a wide variety of products, drinks, a spectacular atmosphere and very good service. I recommend stopping by here, you will not regret it.”
“Finally a real, legit, high end butcher. Staff is totally knowledgeable, and the selections are always great. I can find something special every time. My absolute go to for beef. The pork chops are great and the airline chicken is the bomb. Scottish salmon... yes.. and the cheese selection is on point.”
“I highly recommend this butcher shop. First the people who work there are extremely helpful no matter what you are looking for. I needed a brisket for the holiday this week and I have to say it was the best brisket I’ve ever made. I cooked it slowly and it was tender, tasty and didn’t shrink like briskets I have bought in the past. Quality meat, excellent service this place is a win!”
“Went for the first time on Saturday, and I could not recommend more highly. Rusty was so helpful, and he had a great selection. We bought several things and though we've only had the brined pork porterhouse so far, I had to go ahead and write a review. It was the best pork chop we've ever eaten. So incredibly juicy and tender - will be back for more very soon. You just can't get this kind of meat at a grocery store!”
“Never long lines because they have several pumps. I like the extra range of discount for using my Kroger card and even more for the extra points added for shopping at Kroger!”

“4 stars out of 5 because I'm not familiar with every shop in this little area, but there are two places that are definitely worth trying: Pho 24 has really good Vietnamese food and there's also a super mercado that sells really good tacos and for a great price. If you know, you know ;)”
“One star less because of the difficulty getting into the dock but otherwise, very helpful people. They moved the cars that were in the way. For big rigs, pull in across the road and back in the drive. Once off the road, go check in and they will move what's needed.”
“The food is so good omg… the Chicharron, tamales, the tacos, the seared whole chicken is to die for. The meat area doesn’t smell, great pricing wonderful staff. I mean all the food I’ve had has been great!”
“I've been here a few times before and have had a wonderful time shopping every time. The owner and employees are all very polite and helpful. I was able to find deshi ingredients here that I couldn't find in the Indian groceries near me.”
“This a great place to get meat from. I would say though these people are more whole sellers so if you are buying from here expect to get double the amount of poundage you would at a normal grocery store.”
“For truckers-
The workers are real nice here and will spot you. You don’t have to be “perfect” in the dock but good enough to get the plate down. It’s just an awful location that requires driving in downtown area.. this place is on a residential street. Many of those automated cars will drive on this street and block you- just give them time and they will back out of the way.
Reservoir drive was shut down with electrical trucks so I had to come in off green st.. you can easily blind back, next to their building,to get turned around- in order to back into the dock. I had tandems forward at first and then slid them all the way back to get the trailer angled right. Watch your landing gear, mine scraped frequently. This place is rated lowly only because of the location.”

“This place is AMAZING. Nice staff and you can almost find anything on these shelves. Their meat is 100% ZABIHA, so you don't have to worry about anything. Recommended to all my colleagues. I recommend it to you too.”
“I ? their prepared Mexican food, especially the offal(organ meats etc) dishes.. Their Chicharrón de Res is really good!! It's one of the only places that i can get prepared pig's ear, tongue, sweetbread, kidneys, liver(and all other parts of the pig? together!”
“Picked up and was loaded very quickly. My only complaint is the tight parking lot. Definitely not made for '53 trailers. It's more like an office parking lot than a meat plant. Very tight and cars everywhere. I wouldn't recommend a trainee trying to put a trailer in the door here. Too many things to hit!”
“A little pricy but the proximity to an Indian store makes it all worth it. Good collection of frozen foods, vegetables, snacks, spices, and other bssic indian grocery items.”
“Good variety of Latin groceries, they had a good stock of Venezuelan Cheeses this time. They also have a small restaurant inside the store that offers food from Mexico, Venezuela and El Salvador.”
“When I was in Atlanta this grocery store was very good compared to the others. We got a good fish and meat to try during my stay 10/10 quality. One key thing is if you are Bengali like me you should try there sweets are are imported from Bangladesh. Owner and staff were sweet and helpful.”
“JAY at customer service desk is a quality and professional representative for Kroger Atlanta ... Ive been through most of their Metro chain locations over the years; he is their best and it's genuine..... recently aided me on a somewhat Complicated transaction with ease and friendliness... additionally, ' Mayor John ' as a friendly greeter at side door is also a contributor to the positive atmosphere...My Thanks !”
“With quality products, everything very clean and orderly. Very good service and above all it made me feel in my beloved Monterrey with that delicious sweet bread, the jalapeño peppers from La Morena. The quality vegetable. God bless you always.”
