A magical land where nothing costs a dollar and nothing is ever in the right place.
Stepped into Dollar General for toothpaste. Left with Oreos, motor oil, a garden gnome, and one singular sock. I don’t even own a garden. Or a gnome. Or a car.
Shopping at Dollar General is like going on a side quest in a video game — you never know what you’re looking for, but you’ll absolutely find something you didn’t know you needed. The aisle layout? Pure chaos. I got lost between “cleaning supplies” and “birthday party supplies” and may have accidentally entered a parallel universe.
The best part? The cashier knew exactly what to do when I brought up a half-deflated balloon, a bag of beef jerky, and a Halloween skeleton in August. Didn’t even blink. Respect.”
“I was just shopping at the store I had an issue with the coupon and the young man Daniel went above and beyond to help me that’s Valuable employee !!!! Thank you Daniel”
“The manager she seems a bit moody and disrespectful but the assistant manager is awesome. He always helps when asked and friendly and knows exactly what aisle I'm looking for to get what product I need. Thanks man.”
“Lol this is the only store I know that are like Easter eggs and are any and everywhere. When u are in the middle of nowhere just know there is a DG there to fulfill your somewhat shopping needs.”
“Always welcome clean actually used the rest room there and I only live a mile and a half from there, was just as clean and stocked up,we run up there 2/3 times a week very friendly and helpful, Mike”

“The staff are all great but the person that stands out the most is definitely Krystal!! Krystal went above and beyond to help me and it was more like shopping with a friend. Keep up the excellent energy you all have. You made my day!!”

Dollar General: The Bermuda Triangle of shopping trips.
I walked in for dish soap. That’s it. Just soap. Somehow walked out with a candle that smells like “Mystic Fog,” a lawn gnome dressed as a firefighter, two cans of off-brand energy drink, and a deep sense of confusion.
No one knows how it happens. It’s like the aisles rearrange themselves when you’re not looking. One minute you’re in cleaning supplies, the next minute — boom — you’re staring at off-season Halloween costumes and moon pies.
The employees? Absolute champs. I saw a cashier ring up 57 items with one hand while holding a crying baby for a customer with the other. Someone give that person a raise. Or a throne.
Truly, Dollar General is where time stops, logic disappears, and your $20 bill goes on a weird, beautiful journey. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow.”
“Please get them more staff. I usually see only one employee in here and she’s always miserable (I would be too if I had to run the store by myself). Idk what happened to the manager that use to be here who would actually jump in to assist the employees but she’s not here anymore.”
“I was helped by an Angel named Kacee, she went above and beyond for me. I pray that God Blesses here! Excellent customer service and you usually don't get that there. But she was Awesome!”
“I love Ollie’s. They have so many great products at amazing prices. My wife and I find many food products that are hard to find elsewhere. Coffee pods are from diverse coffee roasters and priced cheap!”
