“First time customer. Love meat markets. Great selection of meat. Grabbed a cowboy steak and some blueberry sausage links. Also got a $40 pack of meat. Overall very clean and nice friendly people.”

“Gahlee, been shopping at Mickey's since I was a lil boy, trying to get something out that annoying quarter machine that scared the devil out me lol.. it still hits home when I walk through those doors though, even if there meat cost a little more”
“This is a most stop anytime I am in Douglas! Whether I feel like having a great meal or I just want to grab some awesome pastries and agua fresca this place has it all! Hands down they have the nicest and cleanest restrooms of any place I've ever stopped at.”
“The manager she seems a bit moody and disrespectful but the assistant manager is awesome. He always helps when asked and friendly and knows exactly what aisle I'm looking for to get what product I need. Thanks man.”
“I go to the food truck and man does Luis get down in there. His food is AMAZING! I always go and get the Berria tacos with the queso and chips. The prices are a little on the high side, but the food is worth the price! Trust me! If you go tell him Chris sent you!”

A magical land where nothing costs a dollar and nothing is ever in the right place.
Stepped into Dollar General for toothpaste. Left with Oreos, motor oil, a garden gnome, and one singular sock. I don’t even own a garden. Or a gnome. Or a car.
Shopping at Dollar General is like going on a side quest in a video game — you never know what you’re looking for, but you’ll absolutely find something you didn’t know you needed. The aisle layout? Pure chaos. I got lost between “cleaning supplies” and “birthday party supplies” and may have accidentally entered a parallel universe.
The best part? The cashier knew exactly what to do when I brought up a half-deflated balloon, a bag of beef jerky, and a Halloween skeleton in August. Didn’t even blink. Respect.”

“2 or 3 years ago I would only stop if it were an emergency, but now the gas prices are competitive and their hours are much better and it is quickly becoming my go to stop when I am around the house.”

Dollar General: The Bermuda Triangle of shopping trips.
I walked in for dish soap. That’s it. Just soap. Somehow walked out with a candle that smells like “Mystic Fog,” a lawn gnome dressed as a firefighter, two cans of off-brand energy drink, and a deep sense of confusion.
No one knows how it happens. It’s like the aisles rearrange themselves when you’re not looking. One minute you’re in cleaning supplies, the next minute — boom — you’re staring at off-season Halloween costumes and moon pies.
The employees? Absolute champs. I saw a cashier ring up 57 items with one hand while holding a crying baby for a customer with the other. Someone give that person a raise. Or a throne.
Truly, Dollar General is where time stops, logic disappears, and your $20 bill goes on a weird, beautiful journey. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow.”
“Please get them more staff. I usually see only one employee in here and she’s always miserable (I would be too if I had to run the store by myself). Idk what happened to the manager that use to be here who would actually jump in to assist the employees but she’s not here anymore.”
“I was helped by an Angel named Kacee, she went above and beyond for me. I pray that God Blesses here! Excellent customer service and you usually don't get that there. But she was Awesome!”
“Great place hard workers get you done fast and polite. I wish this business alot of success they really do there best to accommodate and keep drivers moving. More places should be like this one would be a great job then :)”
