“The owner is awesome! We came back specifically to grab more Legacy Appalachian Soul Company hats—his own unique designs! While there, we also got treated to some great fishing stories. He actually holds the record for the biggest albino catfish ever caught in the Northeast!
Our 6-year-old son even got to share a few of his fishing tales and left with a cool slingshot in hand. This place is always a must-stop for us anytime we’re passing through Blue Ridge!”

“Very nice store. Expected Amish quality on authentic products. There was also a good variety. The store was clean, and so were the bathrooms. Prices were very reasonable. Would have given 5 stars except that the staff did not seem very friendly. Not saying that they were rude in anyway, just that after visiting so many other little establishments in area, the one thing that differentiated these businesses even if the product was not exceptional was their very friendly engament and smiles. A little smile and friendly conversation will always make a huge difference.”
“I feel like somebody team members management. Someone has really put some effort lately in the increase in the atmosphere customer service and product support at the store. This used to be kind of a rundown place and kind of trashy to be honest however, now there’s a lot more to choose from the people are friendly. There’s a nice product. The store opens every day at 7 o’clock and closes at 11 PM”

I drive past 2 other dollar generals to come here.From the friendly staff to the small selection of fresh fruits and salad, to the whole wall of coolers filled with frozen entrees, sandwich meats and hot dogs etc. The whole store is amazing!In a hurry and not in the mood to talk to anyone? This particular Dollar General has set up an application stand right at the register!For all those saying "I can't find a job" - All I see are jobs that are available in this community. It may take working part-time for a minute BUT most employers - Believe me, I know because I'm one - We will offer you more hours and better pay once you have proven your willingness to do a few simple things; show up, dress the part and be present & willing to learn new things to better yourself. Yup. That's it.”
“I live in Florida and usually the pharmacy service is lacking and the employees are rude. What a difference with the service at the Ingles Pharmacy in Blue Ridge, GA! The ladies at the counter were caring and friendly, they understood that my son needed his medication urgently and they got everything in a super short time, also helped and recommended some products over the counter. five star service! “I went to this dollar general last night to look for an item and couldn't find it after searching. After telling the cashier, and no one was in there she helped me search every single aisle. She thought it was in one spot and they didn't end up having it. She was extremely kind and an amazing worker, I recommend a raise asap, best experience I've had at a dollar general.”
“This is close enough to make a quick trip to town and back. Having one register open can be a problem and having the machine down that takes cards and EBT is definitely a problem especially when it goes on for 3 days. They have mostly what you need or a substitute product. The help is friendly and knowledgeable.”

“I cannot recommend this place enough. It was so good we came back the next day to eat again before we left town. Literally right before we headed home ? It is just a small little store with the bare necessities and a deli counter where they cook the BEST BURGERS around ?. Burgers are only served Fri, Sat, Sun. Get there early on Sunday to avoid the church crowd. Parking is somewhat limited and gravel. The people that work there are so friendly. They cook the burgers fresh to order and oh my goodness I could eat one every day for the rest of my life and not be sick of them. The BLT sandwich is also very good. Fantastic quality bacon and good toasted bread with fresh lettuce and beautiful tomatoes ? ? ? absolute perfection. They also have a few outside tables in the back with a beautiful view. And don’t forget an order of fries with mountainside sauce!!! I wish they sold their sauce in bottles (hint hint ?) it is sooooo amazingly great!”
