“Just a tiny store, but oh my goodness an absolute stellar collection of books! And less costly than the larger goodwills! Between myself and my bff Michele, we purchased 41 books”

“It's a shame and a crime that the city of Augusta blames Mercy Ministries for homelessness in the city. There is the claim that if Mercy Ministries did not exist there would be no homelessness in Augusta. How disingenuous and cynical.”

“Love the people. The inventory changes often so if I don't find it on Tuesday wait a few days and try again. My ONLY issue is this store charges a surcharge to use both credit/debit cards. Under GA law It's a legal charge for credit cards. However, it's not legal to charge for debit or prepaid cards. Look it up and please stop this practice. Thank you”

“Small but a lot of fun. These are not high end antiques. this is where you go for nostalgia and something interesting. And a present for somebody that you absolutely do not know what to get for the staff is really friendly.”

“I have always supported Habitat for Humanity because of what they stand for and the things they do in community.I have always got some nice things for a nice price”

“Since opening it’s been a nice store, but lately prices have been not as good, which happens, but seems like not everyone has to pay the same price, also younger employees just sit on the furniture or have people hanging out in there. Really hope it doesn’t go down hill.”

“A good shop with a wide selection at great prices. I saw some folks say it was crowded, but that's never been the case when I was there. There are definitely some tight spaces, but that's because the place is packed — and any shop can get busy. I was also informed of the credit card fees before paying, and most of these shops close at 5, so I'm unsure why anyone would complain (those are other complaints I saw in the reviews). The shop gives its profits to a great cause, and the folks there are very kind. Even better, it's a great location. There's a consignment shop in the same parking lot (Always Junkin'), an antique store right around the corner (Romantic Farmhouse), and a few other shops nearby (America's Thrift, Second Time Around).”

“I love the Goodwill & stores like that. You never know what you will find when you come by!Be prepared for some smells sometimes. Smells like old clothes now and again. The pricing system is (to me) somewhat confusing with all the colors, days-of-the-week specials, etc. ad nauseum, but its fun, and it's *generally* cheaper than buying big brand or name brand stores.DO be aware that those prices vary, and not according to any logic that I know of. Sometimes the prices are "outrageous" for the item presented; other times its a bit of a deal, or a big one - a "steal". I've gotten steel flowers that retail in the $18-20 range for $2.50 a pop . . . and then again I've seen new stuff with the price attached from its former owner, and the G/W store price is higher. Be smart. :DThe primary product seems to be clothes . . . endless clothes, but its a good deal. A great deal, actually. You can pick up some military camo stuff (real) due to its proximity to Fort Gordon, plus shoes, kiddy stuff, etc.In that respect its a bit like a Fleamarket - but always fun to go to.”

“We went last week (Feb 13) and the store did not look as good as it does today. I don't know if management changed or if an employee took it upon themselves to reorganize everything but it looks great! The electronics and the dishware shelves were so organized and easy to go through.”
