“Great locally owned and operated convenience store. They have Shell gasoline and they also carry non-ethanol gasoline, off-road diesel (non Shell products) and a propane filling station as well as grab and go 20 lb cylinders. The staff is always friendly. They serve Hunt brothers pizza and have all the snacks and drinks you'd expect at a convenience store.They serve breakfast in the morning and have all the snacks and assorted drinks you could ask for.”
“They get fresh vegetables reasonable prices on things they don't mind helping without aggravating it's a good place to shop... Great place to go now that the heat is here it's a cool atmosphere it's great food”

“My son and I just stopped in to use the restroom on a trip just passing through, but I was so impressed by the organization of every single item. All drinks were perfectly lined up. Everything appeared clean; the bathrooms smelled nice. There were two employees working, and when I told them how impressed I was with the organization, one employee gave credit to the other, which was cool. So, dude with the pink fro, you rock! I hope your hard work is rewarded.
And yes, we ended up making a purchase.”
“I used to shop at the Dollar General in Winterville, as it’s right up the road from me. One of the managers, I believe her name is Nancy, has always provided excellent customer service to myself and anyone that walks through the door! I recently found out she moved store locations. Even though it’s out of my way to shop at, because of the way she ran the store and made me feel welcomed and appreciated each trip, I will now shop here in Hull. Great employees don’t get the recognition like they should, so I’m taking my time to thank Dollar General for this WONDERFUL employee!”

“Yup i go up to the Royal store a good bit, it's very convenient for me, and i can get about everything i need here and plus that everyone is super helpful and it's at a reasonable price to. “I was there today, March 7th, at 11:39 am (store number 09147). The name of the young lady who rang me up is not on the receipt but she is really awesome! I go to this store often and she is the associate I come in contact with the majority of the time. I wanted to give her a great shout out because she is always so helpful and has a great sense of humor and demeanor. Well done hiring her and I hope she is appreciated because she appears to be such a great asset! I would hire her in a moment's notice as an employer myself. Thanks!”

“Friendly employees, and honestly the only Dollar General I have been to regularly that is well stocked and you do not have to dodge inventory in the aisles. It is clean and inventory is ACTUALLY ON THE SHELVES. Not missing or still packed in crates and boxes that are in the way. Seriously other stores should follow their example.”
