“I worked with Josh at Mark's Automotive Services based on a recommendation from a long-time resident in the area. Josh was super accommodating, friendly, and quick to provide helpful advice from a mechanics perspective.

He and his guys diagnosed the issue I was having with my older Mazda and even fixed the problem without charging any sort of additional fee beyond the regular diagnostics price. It was something small, but gestures like that go a long way. I haven't had any similar problems with it since either.
He also took a look at the rest of the engine and gave me a breakdown of anything he saw that I may need to look into at some point.”

And she suggested going there cuz they pump your gas! I didn't believe her, but we drove on over. The nicest guy came out, and I asked him to fill it up. He said No problem. He finished, and I paid and tried to give him a 20$ tip. He wouldn't hear of it. I insisted, but he wouldn't accept it. He was the owner and so nice. He had a beautiful smile. I am 74 years old with mobility issues, so his pumping my gas was worth a 20$ tip!
I wish he had accepted it. You can bet I will gas up every time I go to Jackson, which is once a week!
Oh…, the gas was $2.89 a gallon, the same as I pay in Macon!

“I was at a total loss when my loved one was jailed and I had ABSOLUTELY no money to bail him out. I was going to do a property bond elsewhere as it is not an offered service at this establishment, until I spoke to Mr. Waits, who explained exactly what that entailed and advised me against it. I am so so so grateful he took the time to educate me so I could make an informed decision, and that he was truthful and forthcoming in how it all works. Ive never had to do this before and I was such a bundle of dreadful nerves and tears and hopelessness. I know I must have called 4-5 times speaking to both husband and wife in an effort to find a solution. They went out on faith and worked with me when they could've easily denied me. Mr. and Mrs. Waits offer a title pawn services at this location and allowed me to use our title as security. They even covered the bond fee that I couldn't afford and allowed me to basically create my own payment plan in installments so I could afford this. They were gracious, professional, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, expedient and were not even the slightest bit condescending towards me during one of the most embarrassing experiences of my life. As a matter of fact, as they were walking me though the whole process and clarifying as we went, they were both very reassuring that this would NOT be the end of the world for either of us, that I should absolutely NOT equate myself to the decisions of those I love, and that opinions held by other people in our little busy-body small-town are NOT definitive of our personal character. People make mistakes, were only human. It truly renewed my spirit to have had the time to speak with them and I am eternally grateful. It was like having a super supportive family member or very close friend. It was a ton of paperwork and the entire process took several hours to complete...although from my research that seems to be the norm, and also perhaps my situation in particular was just a pain and more involved than most...but when I tell you the folks are gold, I won't do business else where and they have got my recommendation for life. An extra special thanks to Stacy for going out of her way for me both geographically and in her earnest efforts to find a reasonable solution that was financially feasible.”

“It’s very nice to have a place to get rid of unwanted tires. To come here you’re gonna have to set up an appointment. The yard is pretty tight quarters if you have a problem pulling trailers you might need some help. They weigh you when you come in and weigh you when you leave. Staff just seems like they are going through the motions but just know that you won’t have to worry about the tires anymore.”

“Called in to have a airbag installed got told it would take 30 minutes to install and then once one site got a trl tire installed the put it on in 30 mins as well so I very happy as I had a an experience where I seen a customer be told it would take 45 minutes to air up a tire. So Alex get double smiles who did my work give that man a raise. He was very knowledgeable had a great attitude. Looking forward to coming back.
