“Update to my review: When my birthday rolled around, Publix sent me a coupon good for: a pint of their ice cream, a quart of their ice cream, or a half-gallon of their ice cream. My mama didn't raise a fool, so I went for the half-gallon for FREE! Wow! Note* While many brands have shrunk their sizes, Publix still offers a full half-gallon! Their house brand is excellent, it does not gum-up like some name brands do, and the flavor is 'through the roof' good. Thank you Publix for the free ice cream, I thought that deserved some appreciation. Publix always seems to be clean and readily stocked with fresh produce and reasonable prices. The checkout people are always friendly... And of course you have the self check out option. Their deli always has good food and fresh made sandwiches with boar's Head featured meats. Publix never disappoints.”

The last time I visited, I got out of my car to be hit by the smell of urine. The grocery carts are set outdoors near that area, and it concerning if the grocery carts are getting bacterial on them. I hope that I will have a quarter on me because sometimes I don't. In this case, I would just grab a basket or a box that's in the store to put groceries in. I wish it was another way to get a grocery cart because sometimes I'll want more groceries. I have to remind myself to bring my own groceries bags.”

Him and his wife are kind and helpful; they have truly become a family! Check him out for your traditional cooking ingredients. He has a large variety of goods, even goods you never knew you needed! “The deli people work their asses off I was in there about 1:00 p.m. today 8:27-2026 and they were overworked way too much going on for the few people working they need some backup when it gets that way because they were doing way more than they should have been doing and rather trying to and they were being very patient but they were just people walking away from the counter cuz they couldn't get get to them and it wasn't the deli people's fault that is something that seriously needs to be looked into as a frequent customer of the daily and Publix I would certainly appreciate if y'all would try to get them some help or have a backup plan when it does get like that so they don't get so overwhelming and feel like nobody cares”

“I have been a dedicated Publix shopper most of my long life I was desperate for water last week and Reluctantly went into Food Depot. My main point here is I am extremely particular where I buy groceries...even a bottle of water. Imagine my shock and surprise when I got inside the store on Cobb Parkway in Smyrna,Ga and found it immaculate with well-stocked shelves and bins, the floors shining, helpful employees not stressed out, fresh produce,and many of the name brands I always buy. Since it caters to Latino taste, it carries about anything you would need for that cuisine. There items are priced at cost plus 10% added at register. I buy FAIRLIFE, a premium milk. When it isnon occasionsl sale I pay 3.33 a bottle Regular price at Food Depot was $2.99. Fantastic buys on house cleaning and laundry products. I wasn't able to get everything I wanted there but I will shop there first and go to my other srore for what isn't stocked at Food Depot. what I did not buy at Food Depot was their meat or fish. I plan to ask manager about origination and buy a package or 2 next week. Thank you Foid Depot. I will remain a customer as long as you provide what I mentioned above.”

“On 1/20/2026, I met the most amazing pharmacist, very professional and noble with a warm heart, Dr Nordonette and her team. My entire family was sick with influenza and needed tamiflu to be filled. Her quick response to fill medications for 5 family members was just mind blowing when I was told by a different retail pharmacy around the block it will take 2 days. I'm a medical provider myself and understand how busy the field can be, but to go the extra mile and show empathy to a patient means alot. God bless you and wish you and your team the very best!!! “This Walmart isn't far from my mother's house... and I really like the store, because of it's proximity to her home. Something about having a grocery store within 5 minutes away - is AWESOME. Even though it's not my preferred grocery store, I frequent this spot for various items. The overall staff energy, isn't necessarily rude, but it doesn't ever feel friendly... I come in with "hello and how are you?"... Walmart has a notorious reputation for not being the best place to work, and this could possibly be the reason for the lack luster energy when interfacing with customers. For some basic and quick needs - it's a good spot...”

“If it wasn't for Justin who was working the Self Check-Out lane, I would have never gotten to the end to pay for my groceries. It was not the User's fault as the POS & scale kept acting up on me. A few times over I would scan yet it wouldn't ring the product up & living by the Merit System, I/the POS had to illuminate the light for help. I have never seen a young person with such patience. Another note of satisfaction was my surprise to see the bountiful inventory of Vegan items, especially in this area. No dig as south Douglassville is not a Plant-Based city, more for the BBQ & such. I'm glad I helped myself to a large quantity of Daiya's new Burritos, as a meat-eater family member tried one & then ate another - where's the foodie respect? :-) The store is massive & well organized. Back to Self Check-Out, there's seem to be a floating employee in the near as a backup which definetly keeps the line moving.”

The ladies took care of us even though they were getting ready to close up themselves and made sure she got her medicine. Walmart just launched Realm, its new 3D online shopping platform. To help you visualize what that means, imagine a virtual mall packed with bright colors, wacky landscapes, and cartoon avatars wandering around. Realm lets you browse "digital doubles" of real Walmart products by navigating through several make-believe worlds. "We believe this is the future of commerce," said Justin Breton, who leads brand experiences at Walmart. "It won't replace our website or app, but will complement them."
Target's new low-cost brand Dealworthy is rolling out this month in stores and online. With items starting at under $1, it is aimed at budget-conscious shoppers. The low prices on basics like phone chargers, paper plates and underwear will likely appeal.
Walmart is growing the number of its physical stores across America. The retail giant announced plans to open 150 new U.S. stores over the next five years while remodeling 650 current locations. This ambitious plan shows Walmart is still confident in real stores, even with online shopping booming. The chain currently operates over 10,000 stores nationwide.
Popular Florida-based grocery chain Publix is venturing into uncharted territory - Kentucky. Come 2024, Publix will unveil its inaugural Bluegrass State locations, comprising six stores sprinkled between Louisville and Lexington.
