At first we were anxious and nervous but because of the workmanship we were given we became very confident with their work. “High Tech Transmission & Muffler saved our butts. When the transmission on my Sprinter RV damaged the pump and lost all its fluid, I needed a knowledgable shop nearby that could tackle this project. Traveling full time, and being from out of state, my options were limited. I'm so glad I had my van towed to High Tech. They worked with me on pricing and warranty, and installed a rebuilt transmission from a third party that could offer warranty service outside of Georgia. They were very upfront about parts, labor hours, and even showed me the damages in person to my old transmission that made the rebuild necessary. They were very prompt and informative throughout the entire process, and made my partner and I feel like family while we were there.
Guy, the owner, is a super nice guy and very passionate about cars. Ben, the manager, is a super funny guy and very communicative. Calvin, one of the rebuilders, is very technical and as skilled of a worker as you're going to find. Tim is very genuine and super helpful, and even gave me a ride from the shop when I needed it. All the guys who work at High Tech are honest, skilled, and do great work. I do not have enough words to say how positive of an experience I had here, and how highly I would recommend anyone and everyone dealing with transmission issues or even general maintenance to give High Tech Transmission & Muffler a shot.”

The service was incredible from start to finish! everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and really took the time to make sure everything was done right.

“Always diagnostically excellent. Fix the root of the issue not unnecessary stuff. Great attitude and helpful with whatever issues we are having. Fixed it for $200. Spent thousands elsewhere before we found them. If they say its $200/15,00 they know what they are doing. Five stars but I would give them ten if I could.”

“Spring break March 2024, and my minivan's transmission dies on a Friday evening as we are travelling to Florida. Every place is closed and we are in a very vulnerable situation. The next morning I start looking for transmission shops. 48 Transmission Services is one of the few places open in the area on a Saturday. I stop by and talk with Jose and explain my situation. Jose quotes me a price, and a delivery date that aligns with our travel plans and tells me not to worry about a thing and enjoy my vacation. We rented a vehicle and left our van in his hands. Jose worked on a holiday, Good Friday, so that he would be present for us to pick up our car on our return trip. If I was living in this area, Jose would be my new Mechanic! This guy is a respectable and trustworthy person, with a deep knowledge, skill set and fair prices. He went above and beyond any shop I have utilized ever. I don't think I can capture in words the amount of gratitude I have towards this man. Mil Gracias Jose!”
