“SUV failed emissions, throwing code P0010, solenoids, quote, $300. (Desperately needed oil change, front brakes shot, down to metal to metal, back brakes down to 3mm. $510 each.) Chose to get only front brakes done. They drove my car around, even took it back to emissions place and got it to pass for me. Also the fixed the under bumper thing that fell off. Not sure what that is called. The whole under side of the bumper/fender thing fell out. They re-attached it for $50.00. Very happy customer.”

“I had a full transmission rebuild for my 1972 Lincoln Continental, C6. Being the car is 53 yrs old, it was bleeding from every seal and gasket....along with inconsistent shifting and slipping. Artie took the car in his shop within a couple days of meeting for an estimate. He did a full rebuild of the C6, including a rebuilt torque converter, new vacuum modulator, and all necessary components. I also had him replace U-joints and balance the driveshaft....and replace a leaking pinion seal in the differential. He completed the work in a very reasonable time frame, and stuck to his estimate as promised. When I picked up the car, he had all significant parts pulled from the old transmission saved to show me the wear and tear..... explained why it was slipping....explained what caused erratic shifting..... and even showed the bands and clutches and other components that were showing wear, and how they affected the overall performance of the transmission.

I have waited purposely to review for about 2 months..... to ensure I got a quality job. Well, I couldn't be happier with the quality of his work and the operation of this transmission. It does exactly what a brand new transmission SHOULD do. It shifts smoothly and correctly. It holds first gear as the factory intended. It downshifts correctly for the speed the car is traveling.... including stop and go on the interstate. It pulls hard on full throttle and shifts are crisp and clean.....not harsh. And my garage floor doesn't look like a crime scene anymore.

Overall one of the best experiences I have had with any mechanic. I highly recommend Artie for doing any transmission work. He's very knowledgeable and gifted in his craft. Would use him again in an instant.”

“High Tech Transmission & Muffler saved our butts. When the transmission on my Sprinter RV damaged the pump and lost all its fluid, I needed a knowledgable shop nearby that could tackle this project. Traveling full time, and being from out of state, my options were limited. I'm so glad I had my van towed to High Tech. They worked with me on pricing and warranty, and installed a rebuilt transmission from a third party that could offer warranty service outside of Georgia. They were very upfront about parts, labor hours, and even showed me the damages in person to my old transmission that made the rebuild necessary. They were very prompt and informative throughout the entire process, and made my partner and I feel like family while we were there.
Guy, the owner, is a super nice guy and very passionate about cars. Ben, the manager, is a super funny guy and very communicative. Calvin, one of the rebuilders, is very technical and as skilled of a worker as you're going to find. Tim is very genuine and super helpful, and even gave me a ride from the shop when I needed it. All the guys who work at High Tech are honest, skilled, and do great work.
