I just wanted to start off this review with WOW. I had the most amazing experience here today. I’ve always gotten gifts from here. However, I have never shopped until today. Let me just say I had felt valued, and was greeted so many times. The lady at the front, ASHLEE, was fabulous ???!!! I’m trying to find how to review on their own customer survey system, and I don’t know how. I’ll ask her next time. The other sales lady was so sweet too, I just forgot her name. But Ashlee, was just amazing and so sweet to me. She complimented me and helped me in anyway! I was kind of in a rush to get to work so I didn’t have time to try on but next time I will!! The whole store was beautiful!!! Fitting room was excellent and clean! Everything was organized, and stocked very well!!! This store is amazing and fabulous. Keep it up ladies. I will now be a regular. Thanks so much for an amazing fashionable experience ????? All the clothes I got I love!! As well as the jewelry!!”

I came in at the end of September to look for a wedding dress for the 22 of October and these beautiful ladies got down with it. In less than 2 weeks my dress had been done and fit perfectly ❤️. Thank you guys so much for everything y’all did for me in less than one month ❤️ TOTAL RECOMMEND.”
“I have shopped at both Akira stores in Atlanta Georgia. I absolutely love the clothes. I do realize that they have stylist who apparently make commissions and there are some employees who have the demeanor that if you're not spending a lot of ? money, they cannot be bothered. That I do not like. Every customer regardless of what they spend should be treated kindly and made to feel welcome. I met Jhalen at the Perimeter Mall location and he immediately made me feel welcome and presented himself as if I were THE CUSTOMER when I walked in. Very bubbly and warm, he assisted me with such warmness and kindness even while assisting others and being pulled to and fro. Imagine my pleasant surprise to find him at your Cumberland Mall location when I went the other day. I shop Akira often (Actually a recovering shopaholic ??) I was excited to see him as I bought a friend who has never shopped Akira. As usual he had the same beautiful spirit and light and though the store was jam packed, he took the time to keep checking on me and to ensure my picks were placed securely behind the counter. Again, I am an avid shopper and my number 1 pet peeve is unprofessional, mean or sales associates with the balled up look across their faces. Akira still has a few employees who have an air about them and if they detect the can't squeeze a dollar out you, they don't want to talk to you, sometimes unknowingly make it apparent (they need work or another job), so I LOOK for Jhalen. His personality and his genuine shines thorough and THAT keeps me coming back.”
“This is my daughter's fave place. She's a teen (15 y.o.) so she's in that Lolita/Emo/Anime stage. I take her there to use her allowance money on accessories, few t-shirt, and limited clothing...I have to monitor this process so she doesn't get anything too demonic, salacious, or just out there. Hot Topics reminds me of Spencer's, the trendy teen shop way back when I was her age.”
“I absolutely am so grateful for the two associates that helped me find the perfect size for me. I had been wearing a 38H and was able to get the best and most comfortable bras in a 40I. I needed a strapless bra for a wedding I had the next day and I was truly discouraged about whether I would find the right bra size and the ladies that helped me searched extremely hard to find my size in a full coverage and strapless bra!!! I was so happy I could have cried.”

I visited this location on a mission. Needing shoes for a very specific purpose on short notice but striking out at all of the other stores in the mall, I was short on hope that I’d find anything ANYWHERE in time for my event.
Mya listened to my needs and happily pulled seemingly countless items from their back room—it was almost like playing dress up with a childhood friend! When I found the perfect item, she shared in my joy while packaging it up for me. She even spritzed it with a wonderful fragrance that I will DEFINITELY be back to purchase. 10/10 experience!”

“I've been to Marilyn's Professional Salon many times in the past few years. I always get Amy to do my highlights and a haircut. She's also my mother in laws Stylist. Amy is awesome and does a great job. I should probably mention that I'm a Master Cosmetologist of 13 years myself so I feel like I have an advantage when it comes to scrutinizing another stylists work. She did my highlights and lowlights for my wedding and they turned out lovely. A+ work! She's great and so is Marilyn (owner).”
