Visitors enjoy mint juleps and complimentary hors d'oeuvres on the veranda, along with very soft beds. The staff is noted as patient, professional, kind, nice, and helpful. Its location is a simple drive to Mercer University, making guests happy to return.
The room was so comfortable and the breakfasts were amazing. Kudos to Chef Lakeisha & Jess, it was all so good! And within walking distance of several other restaurants as well. So happy we found 1842 Inn, great history as well & amongst other historical buildings.

Nice size room. Very comfortable bed. Service staff was great! About 0.8 miles from downtown, so kind of far to walk (especially in the heat). Downtown was disappointing. You have to pay to park downtown, but it's cheap.

If I could rate the service higher I would. Beautiful little spot and friendly people. Rooms were on the older side but immaculate. We loved every minute.
