“I mistakenly accepted a 63 item doordash for Aldi's at ~ 7:10pm, when my phone was at 8% ?. Talk about setting yourself up to fail??♀️. Anyway, one employee understandably advised me that I had to get what I had and get out. She was stern, but polite enough. The cashier was a class act. Super sweet and sympathetic to the issues I had caused myself. She was also incredibly efficient and had me out the door in no time. I did not manage to complete the order (no worries, the customer was also understanding and appreciated what I had managed to snag. ) Anyway, wish I had caught the cashier's name.. she was awesome!”

“Great hometown grocery store. Nice selection of meat at great prices. Some other items are a little higher priced. The deli has a great crew of ladies with most of them being there for years so they actually know their customers and have great relationships with many of them and know on a more personal level.”

“The gentleman with the long dark hair is always so happy and pleasant. He's very helpful. I've been in customer service for 20+ years and he's amazing! He will put a smile on your face . My kids love him as well! We live close so we're there often. The only reason I have 4 is not his fault, inventory on some items are very low of any.”

“My husband and I were house/dog sitting for friends and we were both a little under the weather so I didn't want to have to drive to Cornelia or Gainesville for dinner. I stopped in at Lula Grocery to see if they had ground beef for a quick dinner fix. I was surprised that this little gem also had fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions & potatoes. They also had a little grill in the back that made fresh take out, chicken and Hunt's Brothers Pizza. I couldn't pass it up so I got a pizza to go as well. The workers were all very friendly and helpful. I was quite impressed. I would definitely recommend it. The pizza was hot and tasty. Thank you!”

“Small, typical local convenience store. Not my first choice for gas but I'm there quite often for lunch and breakfast. They have a nice choice of big, delicious, made in house, hot biscuits every morning except Sunday and some of the best chicken strips and potato wedges you'll find anywhere. Mornings are typically pretty busy with locals stopping in to grab a quick and reasonably priced biscuit breakfast.”
“Super clean, well-stocked store. This was my first visit and I came here to grab something for lunch. Pleasantly surprised with the options. Had a HUGE salad bar, and wings bar. Behind the counter, you can order subs, mountains of freshly prepared Chinese food (which looked delish!), soups and several other hot items. They also had a small Coca-Cola freestyle machine to get your soda fix.”

“The help seems to be getting better and more polite in a number of stores I've noticed lately since the covid has been going on and this was the same at Dollar General polite and helpful.”
“Delivery entrance is the first driveway only. Call the number on the gate to gain access. Choose any open dock to back into. Except for the first one, it's not working. The appointment only, you can not deliver early. Don't break seal, they will come out to do that. I arrived at 1510 appointment 2
1600. Was told it's going to take a few minutes before he begins. Luckily, I brought me something to eat!”
“I was past E and pulled off the interstate to the Love's gas station to find out they were completely out of gas. Thank goodness I had enough to make it here! They had plenty of gas and the nostalgia of the old pumps made me smile. The young gentleman inside was extremely kind and welcoming. Next time I am in the area, I will most definitely stop by! :)”

“I usually enjoy shopping at Dollar General. But the other day when I was shopping for a DoorDash customer at the Gillsville location, the cashier was very rude to me. I couldn't get a good signal on my phone and I was having trouble using the red card to pay for the item, which was one jug of tea. The female cashier had her daughter with her and was scolding her. Then she actually had the nerve to raise her voice to me, a customer. I tried to be nice, although I wanted to tell her off. This encounter has been bothering me ever since. I don't usually report things, but I feel this needs to be addressed. Aside from this very unpleasant experience, I think Dollar General is great and I enjoy shopping for good deals there.”
“Quick stop for breakfast and fruit. Customer service: I headed straight to the bakery section for some croissants, and was helped by Amor. Even though she was wearing a mask, I could still see her smile. She was very welcoming even for it to be so early in the a.m. She saw that I was lost looking for something, and offered her assistance with a friendly "do you need help finding something?" As she walked me to the buttered croissants, she gave me the freshest batch she had. I was more than delighted and she totally helped my morning to be great. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff was sort of blah. They barely paid attention to the patrons, let alone seemed welcoming. Maybe they should take some tips from Ms. Amor (it's so funny that her name is Amor and she acts so lovingly) Would I recommend? Sure. There isn't really anything special about this Kroger. Will I be back? Most likely.”

“This store has undergone a complete restocking of sort and is under new management I do believe. When we first moved to Homer this store was always almost a safety hazard to be inside. The roll carts in the aisles were bad and the store would never have much on the shelves. In the last few weeks this store has made drastic improvements to all the above issues and is again like any of the other dozen locations within the area. The store noticed the problem and corrected it and for that deserves a second chance by anyone that's had a bad experience in the past.”

“Like alot of other business low stock of certain items & overstock of other items. The power inside the store went off for about 10 minutes but then was back and the checkout went smoothly. All the employees were very polite and no customers left or freaked out. Overall very interesting visit.”
