“Granddaughter loved this place. Who knew it was even there? Found it by googling, by chance. Place is cute, not overcrowded, and I loved the free play the kids could do. Make sure you look at their website for the blocks of time the kids can play. They are in 2 hour blocks. It's more than enough time.Only thing I didn't like was that people can walk in and out freely. Adults can walk in and out freely. Kids can walk in and out freely. Didn't seem as secure as it could be. There aren't any wristbands or stamps to make sure you belong there, but it's a fun, out of the way place to take your kids and a small fee of $9 per person.”
“my kids had a blast swimming and having fun in the cove. it's a very sunny place to play in the water although it's shallow right now because of the rain but other than that it's perfect”
“Very helpful pharmacy staff. This is a part of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center group and also serves as the employee pharmacy for NGHS staff. In addition to offering pharmacy items they also have a limited offering of OTC remedies at greatly reduced prices. NGHS employees also get an additional 18% employee discount in all OTC items with their employer ID.This location also offers a drive through for pickup and good hours including Saturday's. It is rarely crowded as most people do not know it is here other than health system employees and patients who are a physician in the medical park offices.”
“For those who don't feel that you are being served in the best manner, I suggest that you please take a moment to see what all is involved in serving our clients and community. CHP relies on donated funds that can run out very quickly, depending on the level of demand, which is ever increasing. CHP also relies on many volunteers who may not work a consistent schedule, which may mean that all of the information they need to help clients may not have gotten to them as quickly as needed to serve the clients. That said, the regular staff always works quickly to correct any issues.
CHP consists of many hard working, dedicated individuals. While no one pretends to be perfect, they are all good people, and I'm glad to be a part of the team.
I would also like to respond to a negative comment posted about Debi, Director of Client Services, a couple of months ago by saying what was posted simply isn't true. Her dedication to serving clients, even those who speak unkindly about her, is unwavering, and her responses to negative comments does not come with unkind words.”
“This is a very nice facility compared to other Y’s I’ve been to across the southeast. Staff are friendly enough but I don’t go to the gym to interact with staff so I couldn’t really care less. I’ve only used the weightlifting area and can say that there are plenty of machines to choose from. In fact, they could probably stand to lose a few machines and replace them with benches, squat racks, and other free weights. All in all, and great facility and worth the cost.”
“Great place has awesome facilities and I’m glad they changed the closing time to 9pm because I couldn’t make it in at 8 because of work but I didn’t want to cancel my membership, thanks for that change.”
“Nicely organized store bathrooms went stocked properly had the toilet paper on the back of the toilet instead of the holder and the paper towels were sitting on the changing table instead of the holder”
“Thanks so much, NEGMC OBSERVATION MEDICAL. we were treated with kindness, compassion, and very professional staff. Big shout out to Heather and Hanna who went above and beyond. We will never forget your kindness.”
