My T-Mobile rep, Bleu, could have taught the course himself! He greeted me, listened, and immediately knew what was causing my brand, new phone to be unable to access the Internet, send texts, and perform several other basic functions: it had been set up improperly. Research finds companies that fix problems earn more loyalty than those who give "okay" service with no problems. Interesting. Bleu also had impeccable manners, a sense of humor, and immediately found common ground with me, a woman probably fifty years older than he, which made me comfortable and able to trust his ability. I entered the store upset with a "broken" new phone, and fearful of being scammed or made to feel stupid since I am not well-versed in cell phone technology.
