They are honest and they are genuinely always trying to help you out and get you running as soon as possible while also trying to help protect your wallet. Anytime I've brought my car in, it has been ready same day. Mike talks you through what they did, anything that came up that they saw while working on it and if you need to take steps to fix it or if he thinks you'll be just fine without chasing the issue. “These people are absolutely amazing! The environment is professional, clean, and fast. I had to rebuild a engine on a 2008 chevy HHR 4 cyl 2.2L due to the cylinder bores being out of shape and the head having scoring on them due to plastic being in the engine and Larry Smith automotive cleaned and fixed the motor amazingly. These photos is their work and as you can see the work is PHENOMENAL!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. They also explained the process to me very well so I understood what was going on with my engine at all times. “The transmission went out on one of our service vans, exactly 6 days ago, today. I quickly found Shift-It Transmissions online. As a business owner myself, I was impressed by their Google reviews & their website (mainly the fact that they even have a website).
I called & spoke with Eric, then had it towed there. Eric called the next day with the dreaded diagnosis. It needed a new transmission. Eager to get it back up & running, I agreed to his fair price & paid the deposit to order the transmission without hesitation.
Well today (exactly 6 days later), Eric called to inform me that my van was ready to be picked up! It's driving perfectly & has a great warranty. I have no doubt that they'll take care of any issues that may arise during that time-frame.
I'm happy to report that my van wasn't just left sitting there being ignored for weeks. That was my main concern. The price was what I expected to pay. THE SERVICE WAS BEYOND EXPECTAIONS!
Communication was great! The experience was pleasant! The whole operation was top notch! I can't recommend them enough!

“Great first experience here, and fully intend to return in the future. I had a piece of metal puncture one of my tires, and due to circumstances at the time I wasnt able to take it up to the original store I bought them from that included the roadside warrenty right then so I plugged it. After some driving, the tire had started losing pressure again, and when I was refilling it the plug blew out. Took the wheel off and went up to original store and was told that once I had attempted to plug it, they would no longer patch/repair.
Thankfully a friend had recommended Jim's, took it up there and in less than 30 minutes had it patched from the inside and brought back over ready for me to head home. The staff was all very polite and friendly and received excellent service and reasonable price for the patch. Many thanks to the staff up at Jim's as I really didnt have the money for a new tire, and could't afford for the vehicle to be down for too long.”

“Little bit of back story. I went to go look at a vehicle they had for sale that they had put a transmission in but the owner abandoned instead of paying for the repair.
After a little conversation I was going to go for a test drive and mentioned I was car shopping for my 16 year old daughter.
Jimmy Powell who I was dealing with straight out told me “you do not want to buy this model car for your daughter.” Apparently that particular model has a lot of problems and is unreliable. I did not buy the car.
Fast forward several months and I started having transmission issues in my truck. I took it to AAA due to the stand up character Jimmy displayed and they put in a reman within a few days. Been a couple months and the transmission is running great.

(4 other vehicles also came in that same day right around the time we did with the same issue of running over something and need their tire repaired.) Anytime my family has ever had Radiator troubles, we’ve always taken our vehicles to Rick and have always been highly satisfied.
Rick will work with you first to try to solve any radiator problems without having to get it replaced, but if it needs replacement, he’ll take care of it quick and do the job right.
He just replaced the radiator in my Jeep Wrangler after we first tried to troubleshoot it and that didn’t alleviate the leak. I was able to drop it off at 3 pm Tuesday, and despite how difficult it is to get around all the trim to get to the radiator, he had it finished by 5 pm the next day, and got through it $50-$100 cheaper than we originally thought it would be”

“My name is Jeremy Spangelo and Ihad a tune up done at pep boys on Nov 2nd. Still had a check engine light on for a week due to their code reader not working. Took it to them again a few days later and code was cleared. Check engine light came back on Monday. So I took my 2020 Dodge Ram hemi to Andys Garage. They did a very detailed diagnostic test which cost about $150 ( kinda pricey but totally worth it since they have great equipment). Stacey was a huge help and I was quoted $7,900 for the to replace my hydraulic lifters and cam shaft.....which is actually a pretty intense and time consuming job. So they kept my truck for a week and Stacey offered to give me a loaner vehicle which I respectfully declined since I could drive my wife's care. Parts were a little over $3000 and labor was a little over $4000. It took about a week due to the mechanic(s) taking there time and making sure that everything was done right (also imcluded was the wait time for the parts that they needed to complete the job right the first time instead of trying to do a rush job...( much respect for the mechanics being so passionate, diligent and knowledgeable). I couldn't pay the whole balance at once so Stacey helped me get qualified for a payment option which will definitely help due to currently being a one income household. Stacey was extremely nice,sweet and very sincere about everything that was going on not only with my truck but with my personal life. I got to pick my truck up after it was fixed and not even a half mile down the road, my check engine light came back on( was a knock sensor) so I called Stacey and she had me bring it back and she kept apologizing (she also showed me pics of the mechanic working on my truck and how much had to be taken out....long tedious job). So Stacey got me a loaner and stayed last the closimg time to get me situated,for a few day since it was on a Friday when I picked my truck up. (Closed on weekends which I completely understand) Stacey calls mw at work to inform me that my truck is fixed and I didnt have to pay anything extra because the maintenance is under warranty. If I could give 5,000 stars I would and I definitely recommend Andys Garage. FYI $7900 was the cheapest quote I could find....not only in Rome but also in Cartersville, Adairsville, Calhoun and as far south as Marietta. Dodge dealership quoted me almost $13,000. So in closing I gotta say a humongous THANK YOU TO STACEY, GEORGE and to the mechanic(s) who worked on my Truck. At almost 130,000 miles.....Black Beauty (my truck) is running like a brand new Truck. Just to show that I am not a bot, Georgia beat Georgia tech 16 to 9. They also offer military discounts.Thanks again for taking the time and making sure that my truck was fixed and running smoothly again.
