The time it happened was right before our normal vet closes for lunch each day. They are closed for two and half hours. We didn't want to wait that long. I called about 15 vets around the area. Most would not take walk ins. The emergency vet was closed. When I called they said yes they take walk ins just would be a wait. We drove on to see how long it would be. They seen us in an reasonable time. They were great with our baby girl. Thanks so much for taking care of our fur baby.

Mount Berry Animal Hospital
2965 Martha Berry Hwy, RomeIn my opinion, this is the best place in Rome to take your pet. My dog has been to a few other veterinarians in town before finding Mount Berry and I never had the same positive experiences. The staff at this vet truly cares about your pet and takes the time to talk with you and address concerns. I have even spent time in the phone with the receptionist asking for next steps and she patiently offered her suggestions and made an appointment for check in. My dog actually runs to their door, because he knows he’s going to get pets, treats, and compassion from each and every single person working there. Y’all are beautiful humans doing tough work and you are very much appreciated by your clients and their guardians ? 10/10

234 Broad St, RomeWe were visiting from Knoxville, Tennessee, and looking for something different when we discovered Harvest Moon Cafe. It turned out to be a great choice. The highlight of the evening was definitely the fried green tomatoes; all of our dishes were good, but the food did take a little longer than expected. Our server was training a new staff member, which meant they were running around to tables more than the regular servers. I would definitely recommend this place if you have some time to spare; fortunately, we did!
