I adopted kittens at Petco in Acworth, GA via Amazing Mutts & Wiggle Butts — both loving organizational trying to help our pet community. I was assured the darling kittens were no longer contagious with ringworm, yet my other pets and I contracted the infection. My vet says cats in particular are often silent carriers with undetected spores in their dander.
BEFORE ADOPTING ANYWHERE, PLEASE ASK if the adoption location has been cleaned specifically for ringworm spores. If not, even if your new pet wasn’t the original carrier, they may have brought home ringworm hitchhiker spores picked up from another animal in the facility.
WHAT HAPPENS? We have painful lesions in the ear, on the face, and elsewhere. Ringworm is incredibly difficult to eradicate in the body and environment. Spores can live on surfaces for up to 24 months if not removed. So far, the situation has cost over $750, countless hours of cleaning and treatments (with months to go), and the requirement of harsh chemicals in my home.

2355 Cedarcrest Rd, AcworthOur fur baby suddenly developed severe bloody diarrhea and vomiting and our routine veterinarian's office was closed. Even though it was a Saturday and her schedule was already booked full, Dr Martin immediately cared for our baby without hesitation. The office staff and Dr Martin were genuinely caring, and the doctor was extremely thorough, and her explanation of her findings was easy to understand. We are so grateful for Dr. Martin and the staff at Cedarcrest Animal Hospital!

We have three pups, one who is always anxious at the vet, one who is the vets best friend, and one who is still new to the world and learning what the vet is! With each of them, the staff is patient, loving, and kind. We often visit because our wellness plan allows it, and we love being there! We feel so calm and confident that no matter our concerns or reasons for our visit, the staff knows what to do and how to help. The wellness plan saves us so much, and even what the plan doesn’t cover entirely, the staff is clear to communicate prior to treatment. They make us feel like family! It was delicious. Loaded with veggies and the parmasean potatoes (definitely one of the stars of the dish). I went with scrambled eggs and substituted the mozzarella cheese for cheddar. This was my first time coming here and I will definitely be back. My friend is a regular and mentioned needing to get the parmasean potatoes and she was 1000% right. The menu was good and fairly priced. The waitress was amazing. She was attentive, informative and patient. This is a cute little spot now that I know about them ill be back and when its warmer We can sit outside on the patio area. Lots of parking since this is a plaza. Check them out.

We ordered the taco plate and birria quesadillas, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The flavors tasted authentic, fresh, and homemade. The birria quesadillas were packed with flavor and the tacos were simple but incredibly delicious.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely one of those hidden gems you keep coming back to. ??

The food is consistently excellent, and we always look forward to trying something new or enjoying our usual favorites. Everything we’ve had has been fresh, flavorful, and well prepared.
The service is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Febie is our favorite server and always takes wonderful care of us. She is attentive, friendly, and makes us feel genuinely welcome every time we come in. The manager, Fisca, is also fantastic. You can tell she really cares about the guests and about creating a great experience for everyone in the restaurant.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, which makes it the perfect place for a relaxed dinner together. It’s rare to find a place where the food, service, and environment are all consistently this good.
If you’re looking for a restaurant where you can count on great food, friendly people, and a comfortable atmosphere, we highly recommend it. We look forward to our Friday night visits every week.

I admire their fierce love and unwavering protection for each and every bird. I appreciate their focus on parrot health, education and their dedication to community outreach. On both the newsletter and social media, you can find things like free chop recipies, parrot bios and toy ideas!
P.s. We attended a >free< grooming clinic where the owners freshened up my birds and nanochipped them. They greeted my babies with genuine love and warmth right away and maintained that energy throughout. They also took the time to educate us and answer questions, helping us be the best bird parents we can be!
