At post & Wonder. Ms. Chauns, the leasing agent, greeted me with true professionalism from the moment I walked in. After sharing my previous experience, she listened with empathy and handled my situation with diligence, courtesy, and clear communication. She was always available, explained every step of the process in detail, and quickly arranged a tour of the model unit, walking me through everything with patience and care.
Since moving in, I’ve been extremely impressed with the community. The biggest highlight for me was the maintenance team — I submitted a work order, and within five minutes they were at my door resolving the issue. That level of responsiveness was outstanding.

Also want to note, the property is very well maintained and very clean.”

“I just moved away (sadly we had to move away due to having to move to different city .) but I LOVED my apartment here. I was here over 1 year and I truly loved everything about this apartment. I love the location, it’s so conveniently located. It’s quiet, I barely ever heard my neighbors. The apartments are so cute and trendy. The amenities are really nice and if you’re looking for an apartment I definitely recommend!”
“The 5 stars pertains specifically to the maintenance service provided by Norman W, who assisted when my air conditioning was broken for 5 days straight in late May/early June. (Emblem prop mgmt gets zero stars for not addressing the problem sooner.) I ran into Norman in the hall on my way to the leasing office to get a status on the repair issue. He offered to come up right then to have a look, and had my AC running again in just a few minutes. He then went the extra mile and came back at 3:00 that same day (with his colleague Van) to ask if the AC was still working! I was impressed! I said yes but that it never turned off, and he offered to check the coolant. No problems since (fingers crossed) and the system is functioning as it should. Thank you Norman! Emblem Alpharetta is lucky to have you on their team.”

“I thought about collecting all of my thoughts in ChatGPT and just taking the easy route however that would not do justice to the team at the Flats. I arrived as a somewhat lost person trying to figure out housing in the area and came across Erika, Kayla, and the rest of the team. They gave a great tour and took every bit of time they could to show me around and make me comfortable with the space. I returned a few times to take a peek at a few different units and the team was extremely patient while I tried to figure out what made the most sense for me. In the end, between the rooftop, the walkability, the pool, the epic view of Target (my favorite store now) I would say they did pretty awesome convincing me this was the place for me. ???????????❤️”
“I lived here for about 11 years in the same apartment and I really enjoyed this community and surrounding areas. I had a wonderful time in this community in Alpharetta. Maintenance staff done a great job to keep this community up and running. New property manager also made good improvements in the community.
I would recommend this place to everyone if apartment has renovated with new appliances.”

I do like this complex only because of the office and maintenance staff. I just wish the rest of the residence would take care of it because it’s a home for everyone and not a low income housing with car seats sitting on the front porch, bikes blocking sidewalks and stored in bushes. We constantly have issues with the kids running in front of cars so proceed with caution because the parents are no where to be found. They ride their bikes in front of the parking spot or garage you are pulling into. It takes one idiot to put a bag in front of the garbage and the rest of the village follows. Blocking the garbage can with tons of garbage that the maintenance have to clean up after.
Again, great staff just residence treat it like a low income complex.”

“We are probably one of the longest renting tenants at Haven at Avalon. We’ve been here 8years. Obviously we like the apartment and community or we would not still be here. The amenities are great and the staff is responsive to most things, except the noise. We face the green (Regal Theater). The noise of children screaming and running around after 10pm is amazing. We’ve called several times and have written a formal email to management requesting someone be stationed at the green at 10pm to let the families know that the “park” is closed. The website states that “no children under 21 are allowed to be on the green after 10pm.” This is not enforced. The signs down on the green say “no running, no yelling” at any time on the green. This is not enforced. It seems that the people that are contributing the most to Avalon - through rent - should be the people that management would like to keep happy.”
“We, a family of 3, stayed in the Carlyle at perimeter apartments for 2.5 years. Here is the honest review.
Plus: great community for families; lots of kids to make friends and play; large swimming pool and decent gym (but one can use point at perimeter gym for free, which is much better); nearby Sandy Springs Marta station; nearby supermarkets; excellent elementary school (Austin ES) and restaurants; nice, responsive and supportive staff. Special thanks to Briana, who ensured a smooth exit and timely refund. She was kind enough to allow a selfie.
Minus: Pest control is not effective. We did not have issue with pests for 1 year in our unit but the last year was frustrating. We had pest service done a couple of times but roaches kept on appearing. Sometimes, the garbage gets piled up at the entrance, and if your unit (like ours) is nearby garbage container, it can be unpleasant. For older kids, the middle/high schools are not highly rated.
Overall, this is a good gated community for families with kids (till ES), and for working individuals who may need to travel midtown/south for work, and those who would like to ride MARTA. Of course, this community has some short-comings too, so one have to weigh the options and take a decision accordingly. I would rate this place as 8/10.”

Maintenance always on point when we’ve had trouble, we have had some issues but nothing that isn’t normal for an apartment and always get resolved right away. My husband and I love living here and have not had any issues. Gym is constantly getting cleaned (everyday) all staff is very polite and nice. Great service overall.”

Shaheem has been an amazing on duty maintenance personnel. He is always zipping around the complex doing the most he can in the day, genuinely connects with the residents and says hello/greets us whenever he sees us around the complex. He also follows up with residents he sees around the complex to ensure any problem he fixes stays fixed and doesn’t need any follow ups.”
