175 Skylane Rd, St Simons IslandFew years ago, They saved my cat, Thomas from a urinary blockage. His bladder was the size of a grapefruit; at the edge of bursting. They drain the urine and sent him home with muscle relaxers, urinary wet food, and medicine. I am so thankful even now.
Just recently, they saved my 3 puppies from parvo. The shot they gave them worked so fast. It got them more energetic and now their color in their gums is coming back. 1 puppy, Lily her nose went from white to pink. I never seen medication work so fast. I am so thankful and appreciative. Thank You for saving our fur babies. They are doing so well now.

1226 Ocean Blvd STE 1, St Simons IslandStopped by Barrier Island Brewing for dinner during our visit to St. Simons Island and had a great experience. We started with the beer flights, my chosen way to sample a variety of their brews, any restaurant for that reason, each one was well crafted.
For appetizers, we ordered the shrimp cakes and the sweet and sour Brussels sprouts. Both were delicious—the shrimp cakes were flavorful, and the Brussels sprouts had the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess.
For our mains, we had the fish tacos made with the fresh catch of the day and the Wild Georgia Shrimp Plate. The fish tacos were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the Wild Georgia Shrimp Plate showcased the local shrimp perfectly—they were fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right.
The dinner atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to unwind. The highlight of the evening was being able to watch the FIFA World Cup match right from our table. Great food, great beer, and great vibes—we'd definitely come back the next time we're in St. Simons Island!

The Half Shell SSI
504 Beachview Dr, St Simons IslandOf all the places that we ate at while in St. Simons, this was our favorite.
We arrived around 6PM for dinner on a weeknight and the place was full, including the bar. We still only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table.
She ordered the catch of the day, and had it crab crusted which according to our server is the most popular choice among the ‘cooked your way’ options. It was amazing. I had a special which included fish and shrimp over pasta with a butter sauce which was very good as well. We also got an order of cheese grits to share. It all looked so delicious that we dove in with remembering to take any pictures. The portion sizes were large and we could not eat all of it.
The service was excellent even though they were packed. The server checked in often and the manager seemed to make a point to check in at every table. It’s cozy inside but not cramped and there is some seating outside as well.
As we were leaving, there was a long line to get in, so getting there a little early might help you avoid long wait times.
We will definitely go back whenever we’re in the area.

She was amazing, lovely and took great care of us and made our experience there the best! Always on point with the refills and anything we needed! My mom had the blackened shrimp with grits, my step-dad had the seafood pasta and I had grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes and crab cakes. Props to the chef because that food was BOMBIN’! The crab cakes were the best I’ve ever eaten along with the dill sauce! My mom found the portion sizes for the shrimp and grits to be just right for her. While my step-dad didn’t care for the sauce in the pasta, he enjoyed it overall. Thank you Crabdaddy’s for a classy and 5-Star seafood dining experience!🦀🩷✨

Fancy Q Sushi Bar & Grill
211 Redfern Village, St Simons IslandWe went to Fancy Q Sushi Bar based on some local recommendations, and it did not disappoint. They may have the longest list of specialty sushi rolls I’ve ever seen. If you can’t find something you like here, you probably don’t like sushi rolls. We also had traditional nigiri and sashimi, and everything was very good.
The chicken udon was another highlight. It was a huge portion and absolutely delicious. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and the kitchen was pretty quick.
The big surprise was dessert. Our server recommended the fried Oreos, and even though none of us were hungry, we gave them a try. They were tremendous. You would never think you’d find the best fried Oreos of your life at a local sushi restaurant, but here we are.
