“I rented a vehicle from Hertz in Smyrna, GA to drive home to Alabama because our (traveling with family) connecting flight in Atlanta Hartsfield was cancelled durning a nationwide weather event. After enduring >24 hrs in the airport trying to rebook a flight with no success, I attempted to rent a car from the airport vendors (all sold out) and made an online reservation with another car rental firm that ended up not actually having a car. This is when a friend (with more sleep than us) recommended I try calling rental companies north of the city, and I called Hertz in Smyrna.

TOM helped me make a reservation over the phone and had a car ready for pick up in less than 2 hrs. He sensed the stress of the situation (if this did not work, how and when will we get home?) and expediently went to work finding me a car. Myself and my family were elated to pick up the car from Tom and his colleague. They had it ready and waiting; picking up was a snap. We were are on the road home in time to beat rush hour and stop for our first meal in > 12 hrs on the way. My family were totally depressed about having to cancel our trip to San Francisco, but Tom's kindness and proficiency saved us from another 1-2 days in Atlanta. With the time left in our week, we booked another trip and salvaged our spring break. Tom has made me a Hertz customer for life!”
