Some of their seasonal offerings (such as pumpkin products in fall) are fantastic and part of the reason why I go. Limited produce options are potentially the biggest drawback.”

“I’m so happy they’re here. Most of the people there are friendly and very helpful. My only complaint is they need to make more original rotisserie chickens. And they have a lot of out of stock things I use. I have to go to the other grocery stores to get everything I need.”

“If you are looking for a variety of good fresh meat, this is the store. They offer a pick 5 for $25 for a meat package. When it comes to meats, to me they have the cheapest prices than other stores. Now, when it comes to other food items, I go to Walmart, bc they prices are a little cheaper as far as cangoods, etc. When it comes to their produce, it always fresh. Their Deli food is very good. I haven't seen one person complain yet about it; so if you're looking for some good lunch food, I will suggest their deli, which they do switch the menu daily. Last but not least, their employees are always friendly and quick to offer help if you look like you are looking for something.”

“This Dollar General location (#20718) is the BEST merchandised and well stocked DolGen I have shopped in for years! This store had more inventory that the last 5 DolGen's combined that we shopped at. Sales floor was not junky with half stocked carts and trash.....was clean and had a nice flow. Also, the music playing in the store was terrific, not some nasty annoying boom boom boom. When I checked out the manager asked me if I found everything okay, I almost fell over ☺. Thank You ma'am!! ?”

“I want to commend and just give some praise to the employees that worked 9/13/23. I walked into an extremely hot store. Air was not working and employee stated it had been a while since it worked. The store was still cleaner than most and the staff were still helpful and pleasant even working in that heat! Others may not notice but I did! Great job guys!!”

“I was @ Walmart Super Center (Statesboro) today and they were really busy. A young man was working the check out. Very cordial and polite. As I was leaving the store i heard someone say Miss. it was the young man from the check out... bringing one of my bags I had mistakenly left behind all the way out the front door! I just thought that was really nice of him! I Just wanted to say something to let him know it didn't go unnoticed! Thank you for the positive attitude! Wish I had caught his name... “My wife & I were on a mini vacay & stayed in a hotel. It had a pool & I needed some goggles to go under water (I wear contacts).I searched Google Maps for the closest DG & found this place. I got what I was after…& the store had a good bit of items, but I could tell that the store didn’t seem to pride itself in 1st impressions.The cashier was pretty friendly, but that’s about all I can say about the employees that were there.????”
