“Other than a little confusing verbiage picking my sweet girl up and being threatened they would send her to animal control after a certain time? They are an amazing agency. My girl barely got any pain meds (1 pill split into 2 that she was supposed to take day of and next day, and was super out of it after her sterilization surgery, but within 2 days of carrying her up for stairs and helping her get up onto the couch and whatnot, she was good to go. Little green tattoo now all healed with no infection whatsoever.”
“So my grandmother and my uncle both go here and heard good things. I booked an appointment through the app when my dog hurt his back leg. We got there and immeaditly got us back there and checked him out. They stated he would need Xrays and accommodate me for an appointment for that. We got in the next day and then called me letting me know what they saw and how he was doing. Even gave me information packet on what he has and even checked up on him the next day. So far I am loving this place.”

What started as routine yearly visits for both dogs ended up with extra visits for the older one, who unfortunately was diagnosed with cancer and put down. Throughout the process of getting a diagnosis, they were thorough and compassionate. I have been to other vets where I felt “further testing” for health issues became casting a wide net and costly but Winder Animal Hospital was targeted and had a diagnosis quickly and efficiently that did not leave me choosing between finances and getting my questions answered. When we had to put my dog down, they were compassionate and so helpful. I was walked through the whole process, given time to say my goodbyes, and the entire staff expressed their condolences. I worked with Dr. Theos and Dr. Duffy throughout the process. Please consider making them your vet if you are looking for one. You will not regret it.”
