“I was having major issues with a car loan that I had applied for previously at GUCU. There was just a lot of miscommunication and I wasn't told of necessary items for my loan to go through and was sent to the Dunwoody Branch. Once I drove up to the teller and explained the situation, I am guessing one of the managers, her name was Kiya (Kia?), went to talk to me and I explained to her my situation. She completely helped my situation turn 180 degrees and went above and beyond and made a bunch of phone calls to help me get the car that I had just purchased. I recommend this branch to anyone who wants someone to go above and beyond in service and literally bend over backwards to try to help you. I appreciate the help I was given.”

I wasn't sure what to do since there was a cash withdrawal limit but they helped me work out a plan to use a cashier's check and meet there to do the transaction, which I couldn't do elsewhere because of limits on shared branch cashier's checks.”

And one of associate always laughs when I come in and says that she hasn't see me much, she usually sees me at a certain time and when I don't show up she always wonder where I am. “Started off a bit rocky with them assuring me we could open our business account same day, before we made the drive, just to arrive and be told it takes 5 business days. However, got a call later from Nikkita saying she was staying late (on a Friday) to get everything done and the acct. was actually opened same day. Still have to make an extra trip to get the opening deposit to them but impressed with an employee staying late on a Friday to help a customer. Thanks Nikkita = )”

“My husband and I walked in on a Thursday afternoon to open a savings and checking account. At first we signed up for the queue with a kiosk that had next to the waiting area. However, that did not appear to do anything. It worked out though because staff was very attentive and offered to assist us as soon as they were available. All of our interactions with staff were super easy and friendly. The process for opening a savings and checking account was also easy. The app appears to be easy to use and reliable. Special shout out to Evelina who was very enjoyable to work with!”

“A month ago, I refinanced a recently purchased vehicle with GUCU. The banking transitioning is going very smooth and easy, thanks to Jessica D. She definitely represents the meaning of quality services and caring. Unfortunately, the transaction with the dealership (Hayes Ram in Gainesville), has been rough, but Jessica has gone above and beyond supportive throughout this process. This is my first experience with GUCU and I’m a new member. To be honest, this is probably my 3rd review I’ve ever posted in my life. “I have scheduled appointment 11:00 AM. Leaving the house when i check reminder from the Bank if i have any conformation that i need to give at the Bank. I find out my appointment time is 10:00 AM. I have waited for this appointment for last four days. Before arriving to the Bank calling costumer service to get help with my appointment. If it is book for 10:00 AM already late. I was told to explain what happen my appointment at the Bank. Arriving at the Bank i was denied for my appointment told to make another one.
