βFortunately, they know how to keep their inventory in date. Most other stores have spoiled or very old nasty products on the shelf. They still sell for regular price. This store will put items near expiration on sale.β

βMy favorite gas station by far, Mike is the best, and I always have a fun chat with him. The young white girl who works there sucks though, and doesnt turn off the open sign or lock the door when she closes, and just allows people to walk in pick items and then tells people the store is closed despite not actually appearing to shut down the store. But apart from that, definitely recommend it.β

βThere's a small, locally owned place that cooks food to go called 'Soulful Eats'. It's locally owned and operated. I'm from New Orleans and just happened to stop at this gas station to fill up and get back on the road. I went to use the bathroom and of course the whiff of the food caught my nose, so I figured I'd look and see what was on the menu when I came out. It was about 11am Sunday 8 June 2025. Once I came out (yes, I washed my hands, yall- lol!) I smelled the most DELICIOUS food. I saw the sign said 'Open', so I asked a gentleman that I saw if they were open. The food was prepped and ready for serving and I assessed that I was the first customer for the day. He said something to a lovely lady who came up and greeted me. She also started showing me what was on the menu for that day. She stated that they didn't open until 12pm that day, but that she wouldn't turn anyone away who wanted a meal. I promptly thanked her and got the hamburger steak, yams, stuffing and rice. That plate was HEAVY, ya heard me?? It was smelling so good, my mouth was watering right away. I paid for the food, got in my car and drove another 150 miles before stopping and eating. I only ate half because had I ate it all, I would've been falling asleep in the car. I had a 10-hour drive ahead of me. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures, yall, but let me state this very clearly: I would DRIVE out of my way to stop there again, that's just how good the food was. If I'm anywhere NEAR that place again (an hour or so drive) I'm taking a detour and stopping there again. If I find myself about an hour away from there, I will GLADLY and happily drive that hour to and from for the food. Thank you for the awesome food and hospitality!!!βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβ

βI love this store. The Indian owner makes me feel at home and very very welcome. He knows who I am and knows what I want already when I walk in. I don't even have to ask. He's on top of it. Plus it's just right up the road from my house and doesent take not even a full minute to get to.β

βWell lit and super clean. Usually the staff are polite and even when they're busy I don't wait in line long. It has been an improvement to the area (save the additional traffic). Good prices for a c-store. Safe at night.β

βThe store gets a five-star but they lose a star at the pharmacy. Those women back there are very judgmental disrespectful and absolutely discriminatory against certain kinds of people. Which wasn't me I just witnessed it twice in the same date. That's why me and my family moved to the one on 96. But the worst one is Russell parkway. We went from Russell to here and here to 96 and are so happy and will never go anywhere else!β
