“Been shopping here for a couple of weeks now after randomly finding it while driving around and I can't say enough GREAT things about everything i have tried. The sausages are amazing, the fresh ground beef is the best i have ever had and the NY strips were simply delicious. The staff here goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is taken care of the gets what they need. Very glad we get all our protein from here now and have eliminated the need for meat from the grocery store. Not only are the deals better, but we get to support a local small business and receive a better product as well!”

“My friend lives in Marietta and sends me biltong care packages from Heywood's every so often. And every time, I am watching the tracking number like a ravenous hawk until it gets here to Seattle. This is biltong done right and now I am ruined for all other biltong. I have not found a comparable butcher out here in the PNW.You have made me set my expectations too high Heywood's! Amazing food.”

“Absolutely fantastic! Had a fresh cut 2in NY strip and 1.5in filets. Cooked them over open fire and finished in cast iron with herb butter. Steak could have been cut with a spoon. Delicious.”

“As well as being a very interesting and well stocked market, this is a great place to brush up your Spanish. Most of the employees speak English well, but if you know enough Spanish to communicate, they are very accepting that you are trying. Great meat counter with competitive prices. They even have a little restaurant and dessert bar in the back near the meat counter.”

“Been going here for years, the food is so good and the people are friendly. They absolutely nailed the chorizo taste for my taste buds. I recommend their meats and the little kitchen in the back. It is a grocery store and there is usually only like one cook so a bit of a wait for some authentic tacos but well worth the wait.”
