“I first want to say that this five star rating is all about the store manager, Darcy, who went above and beyond to help me find a shoe that works for me. I have been wearing new balance shoes exclusively for well over 15 years and had specifically been wearing each new version of the 1080, with my last purchase being version 13. I was very disappointed when I tried on version 14 and it just felt uncomfortable on my feet and I did not understand why new balance did not stick with the winning formula of Versuon 13. I explained my feelings to Darcy and she recommended a couple of different models that might indeed mirror the comfort that I had with version 13. She patiently took the time to work with me on a couple of different other models and I found a shoe that feels great. While I was not pleased with version 14 of the 1080, it all ended well as Darcy found me a good shoe that I can continue my Endorsement of new balance.”
