“We've been having weekly visits to either this location or the town location since lockdown started. We both have random resin projects we work on and Fiberglass Hawaii has pretty much everything we need. The only complaint is that this location doesn't open until noon. So if we're in need of something over the weekend, we'll shoot to town first thing Monday mornings. Otherwise, this is the most convenient location for us. We call in orders beforehand and its normally ready within a day, sometimes same day. Just call when you arrive for curbside pickup. You can also pay over phone with your CC info for faster service.”

Provide new updates on tools, 7equipment, and suggestions to move you forward on daily plumbing needs or major constrution tasks. It is busy but you don't notice due to the staff here. “I had ordered a bunch of items online with Home Depot, Store 1702 in Pearl City, HI. I got the emails and text messages telling me that my order was ready for pickup. When I first arrived in parked in the "Curbside Pickup" area, I was approached and asked for my order number and ID. When they found out that I had a lot of items to pickup and some of these items were very large, they asked me to pull up to the PRO area and see one of their employees in that section. I was approached by an employee, Denny Whitworth. He was very polite and asked if I needed help. I explained to him that I was there to pick up an order. He explained to me that the concrete that I was picking up was very heavy and didn't think my Toyota truck would be able to carry the entire order in one trip. He hand-carried the 80# bags of concrete and loaded them one at a time onto my truck bed. We took about 15 bags on the first trip and the truck struggled with that. When I returned the same day, he hand-carried another 19 (80# bags) into my truck. Each time I came back, he was there with a smile and helped me each time with the greatest customer service. He works hard and quick. He's very attentive and goes the extra mile by really helping out the customers. He's a great employee and you guys should see about making him a manager. He's a hard worker, very polite and you can tell he's smiling under his mask (COVID-19). Awesome guy and I'll be sure to tell him "howzit" each time I come to this store. Great work etiquette...”

“I feel so special when I go to home Depot cuz it's like I have a secret shopper that follows me around the store. And when I ask this secret shopper how he likes his job or what paint does something or what do you think about this or you know something like that he goes oh I don't work here and I just chuckle to myself but yeah I like it I love having people follow me the greatest and it only happens in home Depot doesn't happen in Lowe's it doesn't happen in like sitting meal you know I don't know why. Anyways the workers that do work there that are wearing uniforms are truly helpful they know exactly where everything it is and what Iowa and where is located in the aisle I'm just I'm grateful for that pretty stoked.”
“On March 26 we were replacing flooring that got water damaged from the Kona Low rains and received very helpful and professional customer service from William in the Flooring Department. We brought in a piece of flooring to try to color match and he knew from memory exactly what color would be closest, showed it to us, and helped us load up 7 heavy boxes, no problem.
We also had to replace an exterior door and William knew all about doors too and didn't hesitate to assist us. We weren't sure if we had the right door that we needed but we talked about measurements and safety/security and he reassured us we chose correctly. However, when we went to the Door Department prior, there were 2 sales associates sitting at desks, one guy was older and heavy set on his computer, the other younger and he looked stoned playing with office supplies in his desk drawer. Both of them ignored us standing next to their desks until we politely told them we needed assistance replacing an exterior door. The fat hairy guy never got out of his chair but pointed to an aisle and said head to the backside and find them there. We were confused about finding the correct measurements and had a question about fire resistant doors so we went back to the sales guys. The stoned looking guy was there by himself still playing with office supplies and when we asked him if he knew what makes an exterior door fire resistant he never got up, mumbled the question back to us, then said so that's what you want to know right? We just walked away shaking our heads. Then we found William in Flooring and he approached us before we even needed assistance and we ended up having the most positive buying experience at Home Depot.”
“Kinda wild to see one star for quality. Maybe your setup day was a little more moist than might be used to. The climate here does make for difficult resin work especially coming into winter. Nothing remarking to lack of quality, quite the contrary.Great knowledge base Surrounding their products, Highly recommend inquiring for advice from these guys for any Fiberglass or resin/epoxy type of work.”

“8/8/22 Been looking for electrical conduit tape all over the place...this is the fourth place to be exact as we are laying an electrical line and the building inspector said we needed to add this to warn anyone should we need to dig it up, people are aware. Hubster called and they had it!! Located in the Mapunapuna area, this was easy for us to get to. I'm not an electrical expert, but they did have a lot of things that you won't obviously find in a Loewes or Home Depot. Shelves aren't stocked...but that's the reality for ALOT of businesses nowadays due to shipping issues. This place was worth the trip! Customer service was great. Employee spent quite a few minutes answering questions as we did not want to drive there and them not have it, When we walked in they were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.”

“Shop local, and support local when you can! Whenever I need to do something around the house, and need some sort of hardware supplies, I normally like to give my business to a local company, as we should help local businesses stay afloat, as they provide jobs & support within the local community. City Mill is my hardware store of choice! Now don't get me wrong..........I do shop at Home Depot & Lowes at times when I am looking for something that City Mill doesn't carry, or if I am on da cheap where I wanna save a few bucks! Lol! I was working in Ewa Beach this past week, and I remembered I needed to buy something, as I was fixing something on our garage. Luckily, City Mill was in the same shopping complex on where I was working, so I decided to pop on in to check it out! Located at the Laulani Village Shopping Center, you'll find City Mill towards the opposite end of the mall (from Safeway) as the store is just next door from Petco. Like any hardware store, you'll probably find whatever you need here for home improvement, and I even saw that they carried some pet supply items, too! Got what I came here for, and I even noticed their prices for the item I was looking for was even cheaper (lower) than Home Depot, or Walmart! Shop local, and support local whenever you can my friends!”
