“Will at the Kapolei Red Knot was really helpful in guiding us to the best choices for our living room floor lamp and chair. The lamp is beautiful and the chair will be delivered on Friday. It will be used next to our new TV console that was purchased a week earlier with Jason's help. All in all, a happy experience. We choose to use the various branches of Home World and C. S. Wo and Sons for all of our furniture purchases, including our adjustable bed, oh, and our dinette and bedroom furniture many years ago! The quality is always there and the style is top notch. Not to mention the friendly and knowledgeable service. It just gets better and better.”

“I found what I wanted (a koa stir fry paddle) on their website and emailed them on a Saturday to get a shipping timeframe for the holidays. By Monday morning I received a response from Leigh saying they had 1 in stock and could meet my timing request. Placed my order that day and received the item (on Big Island) 1-2 days later. It's exactly what I wanted and Leigh was so nice. I was so happy to find that they did not lacquer something made for cooking. I couldn't find one like it anywhere in Hilo/Puna so being able to find a shop with an online site to check out was a big deal. I definitely recommend this place.”

“Especially with the many Native Hawaiians, living in diaspora, due to rising costs of housing and living, we have many opportunities to not just support local businesses but to support Native Hawaiian businesses. Homegrown offers a venue for supporting many Native Hawaiian businesses who many not have the start up ability to establish their own shop. Easy one stop shop for lots of different authentic Hawaiian gifts, household needs, clothes, accessories. While all of these separate businesses may have their own website, Homegrown allows you the opportunity to see these items up close and try on clothes before purchase. Since most of these businesses are not just Native Hawaiian but also offer items made in Hawaii, rather than outsourcing, some items may cost more than the average but I find that they're still reasonable.”
“We have a guest bedroom that has been hardly used. So, we decided to remodel it to a Japanese style room with Tatami mats and found the Sannaka West on the Internet. After a consultation with a well thought out plan, our Japanese room was completed yesterday. They brought a carpenter from Japan specializing in the Japanese carpentry. His skill is simply amazing. The finished product is so precisely assembled and it looks like one of those rooms in expensive Japanese Inns. We also purchased the Japanese style cushions, a coffee table, and 2 sets of Futon from them. Great quality. Yes, they can be expensive but totally worthwhile. We are very happy with the quality of their service and products. I haven't been to their new showroom yet but will visit and buy a few items for our new room. RECOMMENDED.”

“I visit Kamakana Ali’i mall multiple times a week. I usually always walk past this store and wondered why so many frequent this place. Today was the first time I walked in..and I’m glad I did. It’s like a slice of Hawai’i, they have the cutest things in here. Prices are reasonable and I love the candle scents 😍. I hope they plan on making their signature scents as perfumes or body oils. The Beach scent was my favorite! Purchased a small pouch and I plan on returning really soon.”

“This is a nice large sized Ross dress for less Location. They have a very large selection of footwear, and clothing items. They have pretty much everything you’d expect in a Ross store, but they do take the time to keep the place tidy.
For those who don’t know, Ross has an aisle filled with all kinds of grocery items that kind of turns over into different brands and types of foods overtime. Herbs, spices oils, like olive oil, almond oil, etc. are all at a great dish discounted price. Also, the people here are friendly and easy to deal with.”
“Kalani was so helpful with fixing my son’s wheelchair identifying the correct missing screws and carefully taking his time to ensure the reapplication of each one was done in a delicate and secure manner. “This Lowes has The most helpful Group of employees I have ever encountered at any hardware store ever. I can’t say enough good things about them. Nathaniel and Ryan have helped me out big time in the lumber section going above and beyond. Sharon is always so nice at the pro desk check out. Blaine in windows is an absolute legend his customer service is 10/10 they are lucky to have him. I’m sure I’m missing some other folks but everyone here is awesome. I’m used to going to the orange giant where almost every employee is avoiding customers and barely helpful. This Lowes specifically is on another level. The help I have received from all the employees is unbelievable for a large store like this.
Also their lumber is usually very good quality for what you can get now days from a big store. I’m very impressed. Whoever is in charge of this store please take care of those employees and keep them happy! They specifically have won you my business and probably 20-30K$ total away from what I would have spent at HD and various places on a current remodel I’m doing. I don’t go anywhere else unless I have to now. Mahalos everyone here!!!!”

“Every in this store is cheap, you can find banded dresses at low price. You have to be patient to look for items that fits you from shoes, bags, dresses, jackets, slippers, etc. Sometimes there is limited cashier booths where you can pay, there is always waiting time when paying.”
