“Huge thanks to Lani Sakata for helping me purchase a product remotely!
I really appreciate her excellent service, especially while helping other customers during a busy holiday weekend.”
“Sean was awesome! Showed us around, answered all our questions and did not rush us or try to push us into anything! Got the couch that was perfect for us. Def would go back and work with Sean.”
“Amazing place beautiful Comfortable they make you feel at home very friendly ? Tommy was our sales assistant. He was incredible, very nice, very honest. Very friendly. awesome person. Thank you guys very much.We really appreciate your service Thanks a lot.”
“Coco Nene is a must-visit shop at Kahala Mall. Natalia is exceptional and honestly the reason my shopping experience was as wonderful as it was.
We customized their Longboard Letters for our family, and it’s already become such a meaningful keepsake that will grow with us through the years. I’m already planning to come back to make a custom surfboard sign for my son’s birthday party.
The quality is beautiful, and their pieces instantly give your home that island feel. Definitely worth making this shop a stop! You'll find gifts (or treasures for yourself) you actually can’t get anywhere else.”

“Had a great time and love trying to support local businesses. However I am not very artsy and took my time making something I was proud of. The employee came over and said let me give you some advice and removed all my work and made one of her own on my board and by the time she was done all my pieces were removed and replaced with her own stuff. Lost the magic a bit and ended up leaving without purchasing. I think instead of altering someone’s work, maybe employees can grab another board to make another to compare and show their suggestions without undoing what the customer is making.”

“A hidden gem.
I’m actually glad I found out about this store through social media. This store has a variety of Japanese stationary goods, houseware (mugs), functional items (bags to wallets), and much more.
It definitely is worth checking out if this is up your alley.”
“Hidden gem in Honolulu, no high pressure sales. Got to talk story with Bob a bit and he answered a ton of questions about the products available. Wonderful buying experience. Great, high quality hardwood products, hard to find on island for this price.”
“I have not been shopping at The Refinery in a hot minute but after my recent visit I will definitely be popping in more often. I forgot how much I loved all the different products in the shop as well as the Awesome sales associates. It is so fun to rediscover hidden treasures.”

“Pros: great little store! Awesome products that can be personalized, and even shipped all over.
Cons: tight spaces with fragile things, a lot of the prices are almost confusing by time you do the add ons for the ornaments
Overall: great spot, great niche market on the island, worth going to for sure”
“Such a fun store to pick up some local art, or make your own souvenirs. There’s picture frames, stands, and surfboards you can customize with different Hawaiian symbols. I loved the stationary and the brightly colored Christmas ornaments. We made a surfboard with items that reminded us of our trip. It’s the perfect way to remember what we did. Definitely stop in to get a unique gift for yourself or someone else.”

“Iida’s response time is efficient and they are easy to talk to. The items are always in great quality and condition. I ordered Jinbei and Hapi set that are so cute for my little ones. I highly recommend if you are looking for Japanese-Asian ware too they have all kinds of goodies.”
“We have a guest bedroom that has been hardly used. So, we decided to remodel it to a Japanese style room with Tatami mats and found the Sannaka West on the Internet. After a consultation with a well thought out plan, our Japanese room was completed yesterday. They brought a carpenter from Japan specializing in the Japanese carpentry. His skill is simply amazing. The finished product is so precisely assembled and it looks like one of those rooms in expensive Japanese Inns. We also purchased the Japanese style cushions, a coffee table, and 2 sets of Futon from them. Great quality. Yes, they can be expensive but totally worthwhile. We are very happy with the quality of their service and products. I haven't been to their new showroom yet but will visit and buy a few items for our new room. RECOMMENDED.”

“This place is hella cute, has lots of cool local artisan made stuff like candles, jewelry, puzzles, etc. There's a lil clearance section too if you're bargain hunting. Would be great for gifts. I bought a couple stickers, native flora and fauna. They also had free pride stickers, patches, and flags for pride month. Friendly service and clean cute place. Definitely recommend visiting. It's tucked away in the parking lot by the Himalayan restaurant entry.”
“My husband and I have enjoyed visiting this local shop and gallery for many years now & recently found a beautiful unique Pegge Hopper that we purchased and are so happy with! I highly recommend visiting Maggie's shop - it's eclectic and full of beautiful pieces!!”
“Freaking awesome product and excellent customer service!! I ordered a sign on Etsy that fell through. I found Aloha Overstock right after and had a week to pull it together. Morgan came through in a BIG way! He did the layout, walked me through the order and delivered a quality product in days! So amazing! Mahalo nui loa Morgan!!!”

“Love the messages that everyday better says on the shirts. It's very positive ☺️ and you will be surprised how many people come up to you when you are wearing it. They either ask, "How can I get one" or "love that". These are also the most comfortable shirts I have ever bought and everyone that I gifted with a shirt loved it just as much as I do. Mahalo everyday better for the positivity your spreading with your movement.”

“What a wonderful spot! They host a variety of art and cultural classes in the back. There’s a coffee bar. There are several little shops within a shop, and everything is unique and beautifully presented.”
“It is cute here and I think for the right person this is a cool spot to shop. Me personally I just enjoy walking in to see how colorful and cute everything is lol. I'm not too big on oshi culture but I do see people carrying around characters and dressing them up so okay go off. The selfie mirror was cute and I know they do events here sometimes. Interior is very cute and I didn't know they had a gacha machine here. They had little clothes you can put on dolls but it looks like you could fit those on a Labubu keychain or idk Miffy or Chiikawa idk LOL.”
“This location has so much good stuff! Every aisle in every department is packed with great items that I havnt seen at other Ross'. Scored lots of very cute items for a reasonable price! Fast check out and the customer service was respectable. Clean, organized, no clothes on the ground (if you know, you know). Probably my favorite location & Ill be returning soon!”

“Massive Ross. Have had way more success finding things I've been looking for at this Ross than the hawaii kai or kapolei one. Prices are great and everyone is really nice and helpful. Clean store too”
“This is a great Ross location, especially if you’re a tourist looking for some cheaper souvenirs or forgotten items to pack, or if you’re just in the market for some new clothes. I came here multiple times—once a week, even—since they are constantly getting new and interesting items. I think I’ve found everything from dress tops to shorts and even a pair of shoes. Although, like all outlet shopping, be wary of shoes that could be uncomfortable over time or clothes with loose threads. The people working there seem to be fairly nice, especially the ladies who help you in the women’s fitting room area. Also, be aware that they don’t accept tap-to-pay; they only take physical cards and cash. Though, I wouldn’t recommend using cash, as they didn’t give me back the correct change and I felt a little stiffed.”

“awesome little shop run by fantastic people, check it out! not only are the items extremely high quality, but the saleswoman at the counter saved the day when she helped guide me through some high value purchases, even wrapped them up nicely as gifts, and when she rang me up i was so tired that i forgot to pick the gift up before walking away and assumed they were already in my bag! i would never have noticed, but she ran and managed to find me before it was too late, literally going the extra mile for me. i can't recommend this store enough if you want high quality unique items found nowhere else with excellent service!!”
“A thousand stars for Kirsten's advice! She was the sweetest and so helpful. Highly recommend this store for souvenirs that people actually want and are useful, not just kitchy shirts and magnets. The entire aesthetic was really nice and elegant. Loved all the home goods items.”
“Always good. Remember: It's a treasure hunt. You will always find a bargain. Where it is and what it is - that's the surprise.
This store is an odd shape, so you will have fun exploring. You may even lose your kids in here.”
“Although it’s pretty small in size, there are lots of organizing items in here. Stuff for all around your house. Containers to store food in, storage bins, and even shelving. There’s also a lot of kitchen gadgets. Some decorative household items like artificial plants. There really is a wide array of items here and they’re all at top quality.”
“Came to buy a dining room table and chairs for 10 people. Not many places has a table that will fit. Tai from home world helped us. She was so nice and helpful and helped us get an additional discount for July 4th holiday shopping.”
