They are not always available to do same day work, but I'm always able to make an appointment within the same week. They work on my car and comes out like a CHAMP!”
“Outstanding customer service! I went to the Kapolei Goodyear because i had a bolt and washer between the treads of my driver side rear tire. The tire was holding air but obviously i had to either repair it or replace it. I pleaded with the woman at the register to patch it so i could get to a Doctor's appt at QMC in town. If i cancel same day i get charged $150.00! The woman at the register told me she could not help me and i would have to schedule an appt. I scheduled for two days later at Noon because that was first available! Mind you i live alone on the West side of the island and work in town. If i don't work, i don't get paid! Needless to say i had a blowout driving West on H-1 after my Doctor's appt! I ended up meeting Bernie an amazing Wahine who drives a tow truck with Cachola Towing and although she was pau with work she stopped to help me! Amazing person with a giant heart filled with Aloha. Bernie towed me to DJ's Motorsports in Kapolei and less than an hour later they replaced my rear tires and balanced them. Outstanding service! I will never go back to Goodyear and waste my hard earned money on a company that could care less about my safety! How long does it take to plug a hole in a tire? Sorry GOODYEAR IN KAPOLEI, YOU FAILED ME!DJ's Motorsports and Cachola Towing your generosity of spirit is a blessing! You will get ALL OF MY BUSINESS. Goodyear in Kapolei shame on you!”
“Tire low pressure came on lucky I was near PONO tires went in employee checked all 4 tires found my right front tire down to 22 pounds added air light sensor went off he also check for leaks and found a screw in my tire employee plugged my tire at NO cost!!!! “I called into the shop because I noticed a squeaking noise when I was backing up. The owner told me to bring it in so he could check it out. Everything ended up being in good working condition, but the owner still did a full review of my brake pads and took my vehicle for a test drive to see the brake’s responsiveness. The owner took the time to fully explain everything to me and was unbelievably kind. He didn’t even charge me a dime! I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone and I’ll certainly be back when my vehicle actually needs work done!”

“I'm sure I was a very "low profile" customer for these guys. I just needed one rim replaced. I had the rim shipped straight to them, they contacted me when it arrived, made an appointment for the next day, and took care of me like I'd just spent $5000 when in reality it was less than $100. If I ever decide to get an entire set of new rims this is the only place on Oahu I'll consider.”

“After Googling for a tire repair shop, I was surprised to find Oahu Tire Service still in business and all along I thought they closed down soon after the owner (Ken) had passed away and their Mapunapuna Street shop closed up completely. But not so.
I called and asked the gentleman answering if he was the owner’s son. And yes, though he vaguely remembered me, I asked if he could repair my son’s tire that had a hex head machine screw puncture. He gave my son and I step by step instructions to see whether the screw punctured through by using soapy water dripped over the screw to see if it was leaking. And yes, it surely was, so he said to bring the vehicle in for the tire repair.
After arriving at their shop, I quickly recognised Earl and recall both his father, him and another worker used to provide 24/7 services when I used to work for the state Harbors Division. Earl mentioned that the other worker, grey haired person, was Robert’s father who worked with his father Ken. I recalled, Robert who was a very skinny person that used to do in house tire repair services while Robert’s father was the on the road tire repair service worker.
What made this experience most memorable was to see two generations fathers and sons still holding up the business. Looking into the mirror of my past experiences dealing with Oahu Tire Service, I will continue doing business with them, as they are good honest and dependable hard workers
