“Willy at Hana Gas saved our trip. Me and my boyfriend are not great with cars (to say the least) and our Turo rental ended up with a flat. We asked Willy for help and he recommended the the necessary repair supplies (which were available at the station), plugged the puncture, filled our tire, and checked the pressure. This was all without expecting anything in return (right when he was about to get off his shift), though we tipped him for his assistance. The tire has been fine since and our rental people seem happy with the fix. Only thing about the gas station is that it closes so early, but totally understandable for its remote location. Truly can't thank Willy enough for his help, and love the town of Hana for being as welcoming as it is to the many types of travelers that come through. Never forget that Hana has been home to many of its inhabitants and their families longer than you probably have known of its existence.
