“Decent, reasonably priced, local grocery store. Selection may be small, but if you can't find something at the Princeville Foodland, you'll probably find it here. We couldn't find any Monterey Jack cheese at Foodland, but we found it here. We also found chicken thighs which Foodland didn't have (their shipment was late for days).
The thing that really surprised us, self checkout registers. Sad, but if it keeps them in business then it's ok. The locals and visitors really need places like this they can count on!”
“Amazing selection including fresh and prepared food. Lots of stuff for the hikers and campers. Attached eatery called Swell. Not sure if it is a part of country market but they had very large tasty sandwiches. Good be erages too. Real down home friendly feel.”

“Friendly service, not the best selection at times, can miss the breakfast hot serve and coffees could be full strength. Great for vefan/veg supplies on short notice, pricing a bit unrealistic.”
“This is a nice lovely clean market. I was surprised that I found everything that I needed without having to go to a larger store. Everything was pricey, but what isn't in hawaii... lol... I'm sure I could have gotten cheaper prices if I'd driven farther, but I was pleased with the selection. They allowed us to have a nice wine selection as well as alcohol.”
“Got the poke bowl per recommendation on tiktok, so good! And I was surprised by all the prepared foods. This would be a perfect place to pick up some lunch or dinner and take down to the beach to eat and enjoy the say or the sunset.”
“I love the Wainiha County Market and stop by every time I visit Kauai. It always has a unique array of food and gift items to browse. We tried some amazing granola that was made locally on Kauai - so delicious and saved our butts out there on the trail when no hot food sounded appealing. The staff there are always wonderful and friendly. This last visit we were able to pay them to park our car there and then catch the shuttle to the Kalalau trail. You should reserve with this ahead of time and there is more information available on the Kalalau website/if you contact them.”
