“I just want to give a big shout out to Harley Woolsey at the Service Desk at Big Island Toyota Hilo! I was given a huge repair bill ($4700!) for a repair that I thought was under warranty. Poor Harley had to give me the bad news that the warranty for my brake booster part had expired 2 years ago, I was devastated, but Harley was so kind and caring, she did everything she could to make me feel better.The day I went to pick up my car from the shop I found the original letter Toyota had sent me about this problem and the card they sent me said that the Primary coverage ended in 2021 but there was a secondary coverage that went until Oct 1, 2023, 5 days before that part had broken on my Prius! I showed Harley the card and she gave me a number to call which put me in touch with Kekoa Ruegg at Big Island Toyota and he is currently trying to get me some help with manufacturer for this repair bill, fingers crossed,this is a huge expense for a single, senior woman who lives off of her social security, us kapuna need all the help we can get! Thank you Harley for all your kindness and caring! And thank you Kekoa for trying to help an old lady. Much, much aloha!!!”
