“I’ve been coming to Automotive Solutions for about three years for my safety checks, and every visit has been easy, friendly, and welcoming. Recently I asked for a quote for body repair work since I had a series of unfortunate events, self induced, affecting 4 body components.
Kalani came out to meet me when I arrived for my safety check. He immediately began looking over my vehicle, carefully checking each wheel and brake. His thoroughness, respect, and attentiveness stood out right away. Because of that, I asked whether he or Tee handled body repair work, and they told me yes.
After the safety check, Tee, the owner, gave me a fair and straightforward quote, and we scheduled the repair. Kalani later completed the work, and throughout the process communication between Tee and myself was excellent. “Nathan really knows his stuff! I had an issue with my car that two other mechanics in town couldn't diagnose after thorough inspections. Meanwhile, Nathan takes it out on a test drive with me in the passenger seat, and within about two minutes, he tells me the problem and the solution. And he only charged me a case of soda for his time! I was able to do the repair myself, and sure enough, it fixed the problem. I'll be going back to Nathan again when I need work on my car. Great mechanic in Hilo!”

“What a GREAT experience! I recently bought a nice, used LIFTED Nissan Frontier truck.
It was making lots of suspension noises. Rear shocks were blown, front lower ball joint were toast...

“Local stealership that rhymes with Boyoba wanted about 2k for 'damage' to the water pump due and pulley due to an improperly installed serpentine belt from a DIY install of an alternator a few months back.
Brought my truck in to JP for a second opinion. After inspection, determined they just needed to reinstall the belt. Saved over 1.7K!”

“My husband and I had to get my mother-in-law’s car inspected and approved for registration. We ran into a snag when my “mil’s” insurance card didn’t pop up with the appropriate information, so my husband and I (using 2 smart phones and a limited amount of tech savvy) had to do a conference call with his mom, the insurance agent and us. Needless to say it was much more time consuming and complicated than expected. Keith and his staff were great. Since my “mil” had been their client for a long time, they were very patient and helpful while the whole insurance complication was figured out, and went right to work once everything was sorted out. The whole process took a lot longer than expected, but they were really great about making it feel like it wasn’t a big deal on their end of things.
