Elks Lodge is a wonderful and iconic venue, offering a taste of old Hawaii. It is famous for its best location ever, literally oceanfront with infinity-views of the ocean and incredible sunsets. Open walls let island breezes through. The dining room provides amazing, wonderful food with generous portions at quite reasonable, mainland prices. The local fresh fish plate is a must. It features a huge bar, restaurant and lounge, often accompanied by outstanding local musicians and live flair music, creating a most excellent vibe. Some visitors note the locals can seem snobbish, calling it the unfriendliest lodge. However, many find it a most special place for a terrific lunch or dinner, making visitors proud and wanting to go back.
