Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach offers a mixed experience for guests. Many praise the hotel's friendly and helpful staff, who go above and beyond to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from the beach, bus stops, and other attractions. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms, with one reviewer highlighting the lack of unpleasant smells or stains that can plague some hotels. However, the hotel does have some notable drawbacks. Parking is an issue, with no dedicated parking available, which adds hassle to the stay. The elevators are also a source of frustration, with only two elevators serving 17 floors, leading to long wait times, especially during peak hours. The breakfast buffet is underwhelming, lacking in both flavor and variety, despite the premium rates charged by the hotel. Noise can also be a problem, with one reviewer complaining about the loud clanging of the elevators being audible in their room. The weak water pressure in the showers is another disappointment for some guests. Overall, while the hotel provides a decent base for exploring Waikiki, the service and amenity issues mean it may not live up to the expectations set by the Hyatt brand name.
The place was great! The breakfast was amazing and I recommend if you are traveling with family or friends and want a good place to stay!

Great location. About a 3 minute walk to Waikiki beach. This hotel serves pretty good breakfast which changes everyday. The hotel is a little outdated but it does the job and is very clean and has good air conditioning in the rooms.
