Ewa Hotel Waikiki offers a budget-friendly and convenient stay in the heart of Waikiki, less than a five-minute walk from Waikiki Beach. The hotel provides a quiet atmosphere for relaxation, yet is close to a lively back alley street filled with food trucks and local life. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is clean, affordable, and located near popular attractions such as Waikiki Beach and the zoo, making it ideal for those who want to sleep, shower, and explore without extra frills. Rooms are simple, no-frills, and generally clean, with some offering partial views of Diamond Head. Guests appreciate the mini kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, and cutlery, which add convenience. However, some mention issues like poor sound insulation, a moldy smell in certain rooms, and a bathroom with no hot water, which can be inconvenient. The rooftop lanai provides a nice space with a sense of freedom. The staff are friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Ewa Hotel Waikiki is a good choice for travelers seeking a basic, well-located place to stay that captures the natural, relaxed Hawaii vibe without high costs.
WiFi did not work the entire stay unfortunately, but great service from the staff besides that.

This is my second time staying here and 10th time staying in the area. I like this hotel a lot. Its a good location with a fair price for the room you get. The gentleman Tracey who checked me i I recognized from my last stay. He made the whole check in pleasant and easy. Definitely recommend

This is not a super nice or fancy hotel, and honestly I'm okay with that. I appreciated its centrality and price point. I just want a place to come back to at the end of my day. It was walking distance from the beach, many shops, ABC, public transportation, and restaurants.
