“This hotel is very clean, and the staff are all friendly and helpful, ensuring a perfect experience. Valet parking is convenient, and you can get your car quickly when you need it. The washer and dryer in the residence room were also of good quality. I highly recommend it.”

“Excellent breakfast. Very tasty authentic fruits. In the core Waikiki area, beach is 3mins, shopping places in the street. Excellent service. Very useful add on: Nice dining and common living area, where we ate takeout foods every night. They have bowls and plates and have microwave to heat up things. They provide all beach accessories including beach toys free to use.”

“Choosing the Halekulani for our wedding venue was the best decision we made! The planning process was seamless from start to finish, thanks to their excellent communication. They were quick to respond and provided clear, supportive guidance, which significantly minimized the stress of organizing a major event.
On the day of, the level of attentiveness from the staff was truly remarkable. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and highly professional, ensuring that we had an enjoyable and completely stress-free day.
Another amazing perk of the Halekulani is that they have a flower shop on-site to do your wedding florals. The team at the Halekulani flower shop is extremely talented and will 100% make your vision come to life!
We highly recommend the Halekulani for such an important day. They deliver outstanding service in a beautiful setting, making them the perfect venue.”

“Tight rooms for the 5 people we took but the staff and location are amazing. If we had booked 1 more room it would have been perfect but it was a good 2 room unit.”
“Locate on/near Waikiki beach, this hotel caters to the veterans/active duty of the US Armed Fotces and our allies. This place sits right on the water, and even with some of the worst weather in its history, there is still the ability to find thi gs to do in town.
It is great meeting back up and just talking with fellow veterans.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Outrigger reef hotel. The lobby is open with plenty of seats, and feel very welcomed. The staffs are very nice and professional. Especially shout out to cleaning staffs ( we on 6th floor). At first we just chose this hotel because of the beach nearby, but we got more than what we expected with the good experience here!”

“The food was delicious. The view was amazing! The waiter was great! The food was a bit expensive. My recommendation is to serve a little bit more veggies with the main course.”
“Clean and modern room, a lot of space and friendly staff. The amenities and the pool were very nice. Only downside was the view from our room which was of a multi storey car park but we weren’t in the room much so didn’t affect us too much.”

“We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with washer and dryer. The bidet was amazing as well as the breakfast buffets. Room service daily and valet was on point 24/7. This hotel has tons of construction but once it’s complete I know it will be a 6 star hotel. We had to use the neighboring hotel (Embassy) for fitness and the restaurant was smaller but still packed with goodies. One thing to note is the seafood tower isn’t a lot for the price and it’s all cold seafood which I didn’t expect. The experience was still amazing. Short 5 minute walk to the beach but you can also have the view with your room! Our two bedroom suite had a balcony viewing the water from the bedroom and living room!”

“We recently spent 14 nights in an Executive Suite at the Coconut Waikiki Hotel, and it was a wonderful vacation!
The staff truly are the hotel's gems—from the front desk ladies to the housekeepers and valet team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating. When we requested fresh towels, linens, and trash removal, it was taken care of immediately.
Our suite was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was incredibly convenient, featuring a microwave, dishes, and cutlery. We were also very pleased with the room's functionality: the beds were comfortable, the shower had strong water pressure with great drainage, and the air conditioning ran quietly.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We highly recommend this hotel!”

“The strongest point of this relatively small boutique hotel is that it has a private beach right in front of it. Another big plus is that Kapiolani Park is right in front of the hotel and you can see Diamond Head right in front of you. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and relax while enjoying the beach and Hawaii's natural surroundings.”
“Staying at ESPACIO truly feels like stepping into a completely different level of luxury in Waikiki.
From the moment you arrive, everything is taken care of so seamlessly. The service begins right at the door, and every detail from check-in to being welcomed into your suite feels so personal, thoughtful, and effortless. What stood out the most to me is how warm and genuine the entire team is. Everyone is so kind, attentive, and professional, and they even remember your name, which makes the whole experience feel incredibly special and exclusive.
The service here is honestly hard to compare to anywhere else. It’s not just luxury because of how beautiful the property is, but because of how taken care of you feel during the entire stay. Every request is handled with so much care, and every interaction feels warm and sincere.
The suite itself is absolutely spectacular. It feels ultra-luxury, spacious, private, and beautifully designed with every amenity you could possibly need. Everything is curated to make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and spoiled in the best way. And the view… truly one of the best views in Waikiki. Waking up here and looking out over the ocean feels like a dream.
This was my second time staying at ESPACIO, and it somehow felt even more special this time. There is such a peaceful, exclusive feeling here that makes it so different from a typical hotel stay. It feels intimate, elevated, and unforgettable.
ESPACIO is easily one of the most special places to stay in Waikiki, and I would absolutely love to come back again the next time I’m here. A truly beautiful experience from beginning to end.”

“Rooms are a little dated but very clean and have every amenity you’d expect from a hotel. Fridge, stove, microwave, dishware, clean bathroom and daily room service to replace the towels and make the beds. Staff is friendly and pool is clean. Plus there’s a cat that hangs out by the front desk at night which is cool. Amazing hotel for the price+location.”

“Staff since the day we checked super friendly! Vallet helped us big time with our car and with getting our 10 plus bags and car seats up to our floor!
Checking in was a breeze! We received a free tote bag (thank goodness because you’d have to pay for bags around the area) free reusable water bottles super cool! Love this place would recommend to all our families and friends!”
“Located not far from the CBD, there are bus stops right out the front which will take you into town or out to pearl harbour, the airport is approximately 15-20 minutes drive by taxi. The terminal itself is fairly easy to navigate. There can be long queues for taxis when cruise ship passengers disembark.”

“Staff is great! Reserved chairs and an umbrella for the second time. There were a few people set up on the beach where I wanted to be and the gentleman said they can move me up when they leave and when I came back later my umbrella and chairs were in the front row. Thanks again!”
“Our stay at this beautiful Waikiki Beach hotel was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we stepped into the open-air lobby, we were greeted with genuine aloha spirit and a refreshing tropical drink. The check-in process was seamless, setting a relaxing tone for the rest of our Hawaiian vacation. The highlight of the property is undeniably its premier beachfront location. Walking from the resort directly onto the soft sands of Waikiki Beach made our daily beach trips effortless. Our oceanfront room offered breathtaking, panoramic views of the turquoise Pacific Ocean and the iconic Diamond Head crater.
Waking up to the sound of crashing waves and watching the vibrant Hawaiian sunsets from our private balcony was a daily highlight. The room itself was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern tropical decor and incredibly comfortable bedding. The resort amenities truly exceeded our expectations.
The infinity pool area is a tropical paradise, surrounded by lush greenery, comfortable lounge chairs, and excellent poolside service. We spent hours relaxing there while enjoying fresh poke bowls and signature mai tais from the resort bar. Additionally, the on-site dining options were world-class, offering a fantastic blend of fresh local seafood and traditional Hawaiian flavors. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional staff. Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Housekeeping was meticulous, the beach attendants were incredibly helpful with setting up chairs, and the concierge provided phenomenal local recommendations for hiking and dining. This resort perfectly captures the beauty and hospitality of Oahu. It provided the ultimate blend of luxury, relaxation, and convenience. We cannot recommend this property highly enough and are already counting down the days until we can return to this beachside paradise.”

“Update: Updated my review from 1 to 4 star has the hotel tried to make it right.
Original Review:
We returned to our rooms (we have two) on our first night of a three night stay here to find out our rooms were not serviced, not even a basic clean. When we called housekeeping they said we needed to “inform them” in advance which no one told us about when we checked in. When we went to the front desk they said the traces are all there and the request for servicing both rooms was placed by them for both rooms but housekeeping just did not service the rooms. Front desk staff apologized, and said housekeeping will provide fresh towels, cups etc right away, take out the trash and replace old towels but full servicing of the rooms would only happen tomorrow. The other room in our booking is for our parents who are seniors and unable to do most things without help and we had to request front desk staff to actually help make their beds tonight. It’s disappointing that this needed to be asked and not offered.
While we appreciate that the front desk staff did address the issue and tried to make it right, it’s extremely disappointing, especially because we’re traveling with senior parents. All this from a 4 star Outrigger property, the worst experience possible and the worst start to our Oahu trip.
We’ve stayed at the Outrigger Kona on Big Island before and had a wonderful stay and booked this property trusting it to be a similar experience but were left disappointed on our first night itself.”

“I love this hotel. Easy access to everything, staff was very kind and helpful, very clean and everything important worked. Hot water, elevator, HVAC It will be my choice on next visit for sure”
“Great hotel in a convenient location downtown next to the newly opened C U (Korean convenience store), a bunch of restaurants, and the Iolani Palace. The front desk and valet staff were fantastic. Especially Kainalu Aitaro who went above and beyond anytime he worked with me. Very positive attitude and able to multi-task fantastically. Actually made me wish he was working every day of my stay so he would be the one to assist me when needed. Will definitely be returning in the future!”
“Great people working there. Helped me out for sure. I’m not a flip flop guy so of course I got the wrong size. Went back and they went on a scavenger hunt for the same style in my size. So thank you very much.”

“Stayed for 6 nights in November.
The location is amazing with everything you need less than a 15 minute walk, and stores in the first floor for quick needs. Nice pool area. Two nice restaurants on site. 6 elevators that work very well. Views of the dock with the marina and sunset is magical. Friendly staff. Room was spacious and bed felt amazing. Spacious balcony. Air conditioning works really good. Bathroom well equipped.
If it wasn't for the colony of small roaches living in the kitchen, I would give this a 5 star. Since we didnt intend to cook, this wasn't a dealbreaker for us. Amazing value for what you get. Would stay again.”
“This was my second time staying here as a kama'aina. I always enjoy staying here. John, the poolside bartender, is so good at what he does. He makes some great cocktails and mocktails. Perfect for everyone hanging out at the pool.
The hotel is conveniently located at the beginning of Waikiki. We walked to different near breakfast, lunch and dinner spots. Mahalo to the entire staff for making our stay an enjoyable one especially Annie!”

“Hotel is recently completely remodeled and they did a great job. Rooms are comfortable. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The one thing that will keep me from coming back in the future is the fact that there is a nightclub right across the street that cranks it out till 2:00 a.m. And you can literally feel like the band is playing inside your hotel room hotels aware of it. They're trying to work with the city but it's going to be a long road before they get it squared away and the noise from the street is like nothing I've ever heard. It's like Mardi gras and the 4th of July and New Year's rolled into one. I don't understand it. Definitely going to find another location way off the strip next time”
“We stayed in a condo on the 20th not run by the hotel, so I’ll only speak on the hotel itself. Dave’s Ice Cream is the gem and a great value on Tuesdays when they do $2 3oz servings!! The pools are delightfully warm, although they ran out of towels when we were there. You can also only access filtered water for water bottle refills if you go into one of the pool areas and the latest one closes at 8:30. Other hotels offer these filtered machines in their lobbies. Fridays they have live music and hula in the courtyard which is always fantastic to enjoy. And you’re literally next door to the Hilton for their Friday night fireworks. The bus line between the Ilikai and Ala Moana mall only cuts about half the distance, so we opted to just walk as it’s only about a 15 minute walk. But if you’re taking the W or the 42 to get to Pearl Harbor or the Aloha Stadium, the bus stops are in front of the hotel and just across the street, so extremely convenient. Washers/dryers on every floor, but only 2 each, cost $3.50 per wash or dry and take credit cards which is nice. I’d choose this location again.”
“The Luana Hotel is an amazing, lovely botique hotel (I always stay here when I come to Waikiki) ❤️! It has excellent views of the ocean and Fort de Russy Park. The location is perfect, both near the beach, near buses and shops!Rooms: Room 1510 has an awesome partial ocean view! Such comfy beds and not too noisy!Nearby activities: Near the ABC Store, food trucks and buses that go around the whole island!Walkability: Perfect location, on Kalakaua and Kuhio. Close to the beach!Food & drinks: On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, they have a Meet and Greet with wine or beer, cheese and crackers and a hulu dancer and a singer (so much fun to meet the other people staying in the hotel)!Noteworthy details: Got a lovely pool!”

“If they just fixed up the place itself & make sure all the appliances & what not inside the rooms making sure everything works & runs properly the place can look as nice & brand new as some of these other hotels in Waikiki. It just needs some touch ups to be done & keep it maintained & this place can be the next "HOTSPOT" in Waikiki especially where it's located at.”
“Delicious food, top notch tea and wonderful service! We celebrated husbands birthday and enjoyed the full high tea experience, we laughed, loved the ambience and feeling the trade wind. What a lovely afternoon. Thank you Halekulani for the memories and spectacular food. Just as great as 12 years ago. Love the Golden Assam tea!”
