“We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach. The property is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and the level of service truly made our experience memorable. I especially want to recognize Lorna, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. She was always incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely interested in helping us. On several occasions, we were looking for specific items at local stores, and Lorna offered to personally call around to help us find exactly what we needed. That kind of thoughtful, proactive service is what separates a good hotel experience from an exceptional one. Everyone we encountered was friendly and accommodating, but Lorna really stood out and made us feel taken care of. She is a wonderful representation of the Ritz-Carlton level of hospitality. Thank you, Lorna, and the entire team for making our time in Waikiki so enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again!”

“Very good hotel - we were very satisfied by cleanliness and overall quality of amenities. It is about 10 minute walk to the beach, so that was just slightly uncomfortable, but we knew this when booking, so no complaints there. But it is very close to the Ala Moana mall - 5-10 minute walk, so that was super convenient.”

“Excellent breakfast. Very tasty authentic fruits. In the core Waikiki area, beach is 3mins, shopping places in the street. Excellent service. Very useful add on: Nice dining and common living area, where we ate takeout foods every night. They have bowls and plates and have microwave to heat up things. They provide all beach accessories including beach toys free to use.”

Recommend attending the Hale Koa Luau, held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The entire Luau is spectacular.”

“What a gem of a hotel! Everyone was great and helpful. I requested more tissues for our room when I passed the front desk. I got one shoelace untied, shoes not even off, before the tissues were delivered!! The free coffee in the morning was great. Dogs are allowed and every dog was so well behaved. The hotel's location was great. It is an older hotel. The benefit was we actually had room to move around. We had the bedroom and a living room along with a very spacious bathroom. The set up was perfect. I was able to stay up later than my better half and read and not disturb her. I would gladly stay here again. Oh, did I mention how great ALL the staff were. I felt like they were all family! That was very special. Thank you everyone!!”

“Overall a really nice experience. Restaurants are nice, view to the water was beautiful, really love where it's located for getting to shops and eating. Only thing that didn't go perfect was one night they checked another couple in and gave them our room number and key. Luckily we were still awake, but that was not great to have someone try to come in the room. The couple was nice and were more frustrated then we were as it probably had been a long day of travel.”

“All I can say is it’s worth every penny you pay. My wife and I spent the start of our honeymoon here and even by the end it was our favourite place we stayed. The rooms are gorgeous and setup well, it’s an older hotel but the rooms are up to date and very aesthetic. But the thing we loved the most was the service. The staff were fantastic/friendly and so happy to be there. They would offer to take pictures of us get us new towels. Every time we would want service they knew and were there before we even asked. They were so attentive that we were just dumbfounded at how good it was. It really made our day. The next thing I will say is the breakfast buffet is probably the most unique experience I had. If you want a traditional Japanese style breakfast buffet with miso soup, karage and an assortment of other items it’s the best I’ve had. You also have all your typical American options but the Japanese options were the highlight for sure. Both me and my wife would stay here again. Also to top it all off the location is perfect for exploring Honolulu by foot.”

“I highly recommend the Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani. My eight-night stay was exceptional. I asked for a room on higher level floors. My room had an ocean front lanai with spectacular views, was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is quiet, the staff is very accommodating and the elevators are fast. There is no resort fee. A shout out to Eve and the rest of the housekeeping staff! The location is great for walking to the beaches, numerous restaurants and shopping. I also recommend the Halekulani Bakery next door. I definitely will stay at Halepuna Waikiki during my next vacation!”

“Rooms are a little dated but very clean and have every amenity you’d expect from a hotel. Fridge, stove, microwave, dishware, clean bathroom and daily room service to replace the towels and make the beds. Staff is friendly and pool is clean. Plus there’s a cat that hangs out by the front desk at night which is cool. Amazing hotel for the price+location.”

“Hotel is recently completely remodeled and they did a great job. Rooms are comfortable. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The one thing that will keep me from coming back in the future is the fact that there is a nightclub right across the street that cranks it out till 2:00 a.m. And you can literally feel like the band is playing inside your hotel room hotels aware of it. They're trying to work with the city but it's going to be a long road before they get it squared away and the noise from the street is like nothing I've ever heard. It's like Mardi gras and the 4th of July and New Year's rolled into one. I don't understand it. Definitely going to find another location way off the strip next time”

“We recently spent 14 nights in an Executive Suite at the Coconut Waikiki Hotel, and it was a wonderful vacation! The staff truly are the hotel's gems—from the front desk ladies to the housekeepers and valet team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating. When we requested fresh towels, linens, and trash removal, it was taken care of immediately. Our suite was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was incredibly convenient, featuring a microwave, dishes, and cutlery. We were also very pleased with the room's functionality: the beds were comfortable, the shower had strong water pressure with great drainage, and the air conditioning ran quietly. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We highly recommend this hotel!”

From the moment we stepped into the open-air lobby, we were greeted with genuine aloha spirit and a refreshing tropical drink. The check-in process was seamless, setting a relaxing tone for the rest of our Hawaiian vacation.The highlight of the property is undeniably its premier beachfront location. Walking from the resort directly onto the soft sands of Waikiki Beach made our daily beach trips effortless. Our oceanfront room offered breathtaking, panoramic views of the turquoise Pacific Ocean and the iconic Diamond Head crater. Waking up to the sound of crashing waves and watching the vibrant Hawaiian sunsets from our private balcony was a daily highlight. The room itself was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern tropical decor and incredibly comfortable bedding.The resort amenities truly exceeded our expectations. The infinity pool area is a tropical paradise, surrounded by lush greenery, comfortable lounge chairs, and excellent poolside service. We spent hours relaxing there while enjoying fresh poke bowls and signature mai tais from the resort bar. Additionally, the on-site dining options were world-class, offering a fantastic blend of fresh local seafood and traditional Hawaiian flavors.What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional staff. Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Housekeeping was meticulous, the beach attendants were incredibly helpful with setting up chairs, and the concierge provided phenomenal local recommendations for hiking and dining.This resort perfectly captures the beauty and hospitality of Oahu. It provided the ultimate blend of luxury, relaxation, and convenience. We cannot recommend this property highly enough and are already counting down the days until we can return to this beachside paradise.”

“Update: Updated my review from 1 to 4 star has the hotel tried to make it right. Original Review: We returned to our rooms (we have two) on our first night of a three night stay here to find out our rooms were not serviced, not even a basic clean. When we called housekeeping they said we needed to “inform them” in advance which no one told us about when we checked in. When we went to the front desk they said the traces are all there and the request for servicing both rooms was placed by them for both rooms but housekeeping just did not service the rooms. Front desk staff apologized, and said housekeeping will provide fresh towels, cups etc right away, take out the trash and replace old towels but full servicing of the rooms would only happen tomorrow. The other room in our booking is for our parents who are seniors and unable to do most things without help and we had to request front desk staff to actually help make their beds tonight. It’s disappointing that this needed to be asked and not offered. While we appreciate that the front desk staff did address the issue and tried to make it right, it’s extremely disappointing, especially because we’re traveling with senior parents. All this from a 4 star Outrigger property, the worst experience possible and the worst start to our Oahu trip. We’ve stayed at the Outrigger Kona on Big Island before and had a wonderful stay and booked this property trusting it to be a similar experience but were left disappointed on our first night itself.”

“Highly recommend the luxury cabanas. Starting the day being greeted by an amazing attendant, Mary, was a highlight. She took the time to get to know me, my name, and looked out for the other guest joining me later in the morning. The loungers were incredibly comfortable and let a decent amount of breeze thru while having enough privacy on a cloudless Oahu day. Be aware that the snacks, water, etc. don't come out until around 12pm and poolside bar service doesn't start until 11am, but you can always go to the restaurant bar which allows takeaways and start the drinking anytime. 😉 Overall this was a highlight and if you have the time something to take advantage of while at the infinity pool.”

We received a free tote bag (thank goodness because you’d have to pay for bags around the area) free reusable water bottles super cool! Love this place would recommend to all our families and friends!”

Everything is curated to make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and spoiled in the best way. And the view… truly one of the best views in Waikiki. Waking up here and looking out over the ocean feels like a dream. This was my second time staying at ESPACIO, and it somehow felt even more special this time. “Located not far from the CBD, there are bus stops right out the front which will take you into town or out to pearl harbour, the airport is approximately 15-20 minutes drive by taxi.The terminal itself is fairly easy to navigate. “Great, affordable hotel . Staff were friendly , nice and attentive when we first got there and helpful for providing us fast service . Was able to check in early at 1pm and got our room keys . Great tasting breakfast served from around 6am to 9am , all you can eat style which was nice . Lobby has plenty of seating, with a bar and concession with only drinks in the front next to the check-in desk . There's also a Domino's in the hotel which was a little overpriced ($28 for a large pizza) but reasonable considering it's in the hotel and in Waikiki . Pool was nice but a little small; around 8 people would make it crowded but nice . Rooms were spacious with a modern bathroom and closet inside with a TV and a view . Overall great hotel with all the amenities it brings but the view (at least the one we got) was a little disappointing”

“We had a home emergency and needed a room for 2 nights late on a saturday night, the staff was extremely accommodating when I called and were able to get us a room and a pack n play for our newborn the same night. When we showed up they helped us take our bags to our room since our hands were full with bags and kids. We got two free drinks with our stay, the drink was delicious and the bartender was super friendly. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from Ala Moana and there are a lot of restaurants within a 5 minute walk as well as an ABC store right by the hotel. The location is awesome and offers a lot of options for food within walking distance. The room was very big, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom was very nice (especially the shower), and it had a mini fridge and a keurig!”

“We really enjoyed our stay! Overall, the room was magnificent, featuring an excellent, fully equipped kitchen and a great view from the window. That said, the cleaning and maintenance could have been a bit more thorough. There was some leftover tape and stickers on the wall, a bit of dust hanging from an electrical outlet, and the towel rack was loose. The shower head was also not very convenient—honestly, you can get a much better one at Costco for $30. Despite these minor details, it was a wonderful experience overall, and we had a great stay.”
