“I started with Tardus two months ago and have already done my first loan flip. My coaches are very experienced in the financial instruments they are teaching about and have introduced me to new ideas and new ways of thinking about money. I have a built a sound financial plan that fuels my other investments and lifestyle. I'm not in my finance myself but have long wanted to find a way to work with money in a meaningful way that builds wealth, and I can stay Tardus has started me on that journey.”

“Janell Israel & Associates has been preparing my taxes since I've began my current line of work. They are located on the 16th floor of the Ala Moana Pacific Center Building on the corner of Kapiolani Blvd & Kaheka Street. You may know this building because Shokudo Japanese is right on the ground floor. I was first introduced to Janell herself via my other half as he's been going to them even longer than me. I first started going here almost 10 years ago, also met Lena who is their front desk receptionist, she cracks me up a ton! These past two years, Nicky has taken on me and my husband's tax preparation. They're on the conservative side, so they don't go crazy on trying to write off every single expense you have in your line of work. What makes our visits to the office so rewarding, is you get to catch up on gossip sessions with Lena and enjoy all her chocolates and Biscoff cookies:-)”
“Best customer service I've every had through out the years, whether in person on over the phone, they are always helpful and friendly. It's not a bank in Hawaii so you can only do brokerage stuff (can do banking part online though). As long as you aren't dealing in cash it perfect. Also NO ATM Fees (I think up to $10 per month) so I never worry if I need cash.”
“I was in the area last Friday and had to make a pit-stop at this particular branch to take care of business. I arrived -- should anyone need verification of doing said business, I was there between 9:20am and 9:30am -- shortly after the branch had just opened at 9:00am. This branch has parking in a parking structure with a height clearance of 6'8" that my full-sized lifted vehicle will clearly not fit in but there were parking stalls alongside to the right before the parking garage. However, most of the outside stalls were coned off, for whatever reason, as it was not indicated why aside from the signage stating, "For ATM and oversized vehicles." I proceeded to reverse-park in the very first stall but was waiting for two women in the next stall over as I was anticipating them to walk-off but they didn't. Rather, one of the women moved one of the other cones for me which I did so in that, now, open stall. As I got out of my car and was gathering my belongings from the back seat, I was approached by a short Asian lady, with black thick medium-length-non-flat-ironed hair, wearing jeans and a green polo, possibly a lot attendant, and in a hostile tone, greeted with, "Are you doing business at the credit union?" as she began to move the cone next to my car. She continued with, "You can park in the structure," to which I replied, "My car doesn't fit in there." She then stated, "It's 6.8." Now, for one -- I drive a lifted full-sized vehicle. I am constantly wary of height clearances wherever I go. Two -- she must've mistook me as visually-impaired as if I did not see the obviously-stated, HEIGHT CLEARANCE 6'8" sign, literally one of the first signs I looked for, aside from the "Hawaii USA" upfront. Three-- 6.8 does NOT equate to 6'8" LOL !! Anyhow, ended up doing the "business at the credit union" that needed to be done. Thankfully, as I walked into the branch there were two available tellers with such warm and welcoming attitudes, the complete opposite as the woman I first encountered. The teller was courteous, friendly, patient and professional. **Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if your vehicle will not clear 6.8.... I mean 6 ft 8 inches... as there is no other designated parking to do so** The stars apply to my pleasant experience with the teller. Negative stars for the ill-mannered lot attendant.”
“Really good service from Aaron and the new accounts department! I tried to open an account however with a bit of inquires I could not. Aaron took the time explaining to me why they could not open the account and that next year they will be more than happy to open the account for me. That interaction with them made me leave feeling cared for!”

“HawaiiUSA is my favorite financial institution in Hawaii! Used them since college, but I have been a member longer than that as both of my parents are retired public high school teachers. The Kapiolani location is the most convenient to me, only a couple of miles away from my place. Evidently it's pretty popular with other members too, as the service line can be quite lengthy on Friday afternoons. When that happens, I will try to use other nearby HawaiiUSA locations like Waialae or Main Branch in downtown. Otherwise, there are a lot of parking stalls to make a visit a quick in & out. Later this year in 2024, HawaiiUSA will close this location and move to a new location in Kakaako. We'll see how that works out, I have concerns about the parking. Other than that, repeat and recommend!”
“Well the person who I spoke to on the phone was great. But I got to ask you the question. Why don't you guys have any any banks or ATM machines on the island of Oahu hawaii?”
