“Best place to buy board games. Staff are all super friendly and very passionate about the games they sell. The owner is very down to earth and supports all tabletop gaming community. Everyday they have different events dedicated for all kinds of games from board game night, Friday night magic, One Piece Mondays, tabletop war games, Miniature painting, any may more. 10/10 will buy all my board games here.”

“As an avid Lego builder, I tend to visit all of the Lego stores and get the passport stamps. This one had stamps too and we even got a special kit to make lei necklaces here! Never seen those before anywhere, so that was a plus! Since we flew in from across the country, we could not bring home much, but we did get the kit and the stamps! Everyone was friendly, and, as always, the Lego prices were the same as everywhere else.”

“This place has such a strong anime/otaku atmosphere, and I mean that in the best way possible. It doesn't feel like a generic gift shop—it actually feels like it's made for anime fans. I could honestly spend forever just looking through everything. I also love that you can occasionally find really nice merch at surprisingly reasonable prices. It's always fun spotting something you've been looking for (or something you didn't know you needed lol). Every visit feels a little different, so I always end up coming back.”

“Went in to buy some Pokemon singles for my daughter. The initial person I talked to didn't seem terribly helpful, but he did pass me off to someone who helped me use their in-store inventory tablet that seemingly connects to their TCG player singles storefront.I really liked this setup as it was relatively easy to get cards from various sets. This salesperson, Daniel, was very patient with us and was very kind to my daughter as I helped her pick out her cards.Every time we visit Oahu, we'll be back!”

“When visiting, note that it’s recommended to CALL them so they can guide you into their store since they’re located inside the storage warehouse. The main review: The selection was a bit small because of the size of rental space and their main reputation is being a local source to ship products from out of the island to the local customer base at the island, but their prices were very fair and very helpful, especially their supplier is from the mainland US that gets their items from Japan would cost them heavily with the shipping fees. So when they ever mention about the fact that they’ll be fair with the prices and take hits on any loss of profit for the customer to enjoy a good deal is true. The staff are not just nice and welcoming, but they are knowledgeable enough about the Gunpla kits they sell (it was cool that even one of them was wearing a 08 MS team shirt lol) and one of the few stores that not only sell gunplas, but also a WW2 Tabletop series “Bolt-Action” (a turn-based table-top strategy WW2 game, pretty fun to get into) where they were REALLY excited and well knowledgeable about when informing me about the Bolt-Action series and the local Bolt-Action events they go to at the island. All of their staff are die-hard fans of the Bolt-Action series. (Side note, one of their staff had their playlist playing Company of Heroes 2 ost and the Band of Brothers ost. Nice touch.) They mainly known to have their customer base locally trust them with shipment and handling from third-party sources with good and fair deals. They’re also known to be the lowkey Gunpla store locally due to their store location. Overall great experience from them.”

“It is cute here and I think for the right person this is a cool spot to shop. Me personally I just enjoy walking in to see how colorful and cute everything is lol. I'm not too big on oshi culture but I do see people carrying around characters and dressing them up so okay go off. The selfie mirror was cute and I know they do events here sometimes. Interior is very cute and I didn't know they had a gacha machine here. They had little clothes you can put on dolls but it looks like you could fit those on a Labubu keychain or idk Miffy or Chiikawa idk LOL.”

“I frequent Think Things often (I have a 7-year-old!). Every time we visit the store, I can always count on friendly banter with their employees when I am checking out. Occasionally, the store will be slow and we will talk story with Marcus, who is always very helpful when we're looking for "something"!Their selections of toys, especially ones that encourage a child's interest in STEM, is pretty decent. They also have a good amount of the toys that are trending at any given point in the year (Pokemon (figurines and cards) as well as Bakugan). I also appreciate their selection of nostalgic toys such as lava lamps and plasma balls!Their prices are higher than what you would see on Amazon or Walmart or Target; however, I can imagine they need to factor in shipping costs and their rent at Kahala Mall.I recommend checking Thinker Things out! Even if your kid doesn't find anything, you may find a piece that reminds you of your childhood!”
