“I thought I died and went to mu'umu'u heaven. Oh my goodness! What a selection of authentic mu'umu'u's and accessories in all sizes. A literal jungle of colors and styles! Not only us dancers shop there. Although it is a dancers dream come true. ❤ The staff was friendly and they do on-site alterations. All the goods are also available online. I opted out of expensive tourist attractions and left my money there! Oh yeah and you can buy matching Aloha shirts for your man to wear.”
“Super fun store, the music is bumping and the shop has A LOT to offer. If u get overstimulated easily beware, cause this place has a lot going on, but in the best way possible. They are a bit pricey tho, but what isn’t on Waikiki..?”

“I walked in and was greeted by the friendly cashier. She told me that all the shirts are designed and printed locally. She asked if I was a tourist or if I lived here. She also asked what area I lived in and told me that they have a location at Ala Moana. I looked around the store and noticed some really cool items. They have shirts with turtles and sharks on them. They also have shirts from local eateries such as Tiki's Grill & Bar and Waikiki Brewing Company.”
“I came into the store for the first time like two weeks ago (I think), and had a very pleasant time. I was greeted by Isaiah whom was really welcoming, nice, informative, thoughtful, and patient with me while I was browsing. I felt like I was being respected regardless of purchasing or not (which I really like and appreciate!:)))
Fast forward to a couple of days later, I met the other team members (Boss Lee, Kalif, and Elijah) who were all so nice and helpful. After many revisits, we’re more than just team members and customer now; it feels like a big family instead (yayy!><). The aloha spirit I get from them is really heartwarming.
Big shout out to you guys! Hope to be back one day in the future & buy more things;)

“This place has such a strong anime/otaku atmosphere, and I mean that in the best way possible. It doesn't feel like a generic gift shop—it actually feels like it's made for anime fans. I could honestly spend forever just looking through everything.
I also love that you can occasionally find really nice merch at surprisingly reasonable prices. It's always fun spotting something you've been looking for (or something you didn't know you needed lol). Every visit feels a little different, so I always end up coming back.”

“This review is specifically for DEB. Exceptional service at the Kahala location thanks to Deb, the manager. I was a recipient of a recent event, and despite unexpected challenges with the order (including technical issues and manual processing), Deb handled everything with patience, professionalism, and a genuine smile.
Her deep knowledge of company policies, calm leadership, and appreciation for her team truly stood out. She radiates the spirit of Aloha and Ohana and clearly cares deeply about the company and its mission. Even on Black Friday , after working from early morning through closing , her positivity never wavered.
As someone with a customer service background, I can confidently say Deb is a rare gem. She truly embodies Aloha and is a tremendous asset to the Kahala store and the Reyn Spooner brand.”
“A HUGE MAHALO to Jen, Ashley and staff for their AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I purchased a NO SAND BACKPACK made by Of One Sea for my daughter for Christmas and upon her first use of the bag in February the top part shredded apart . I paid $95 for the bag so I wasn't feeling just taking a loss on it especially since it was a gift for my daughter and grandkids. I contacted Up and Riding and explained what happened and because the return policy for Christmas gifts ended on January 31 they called Of One Sea and reported what happened. Of One Sea also provided me with excellent customer service and sent me a brand new bag and a warranty on it as well. Since the Covid pandemic I have vowed to support local businesses which is why I shop frequently at Up and Riding . And now I have added Of One Sea to this list!!! Thank you all so much for restoring the aloha in customer service in the islands. Mahalo... see you all soon !!!”

“I had a bit of a rocky experience at first when I bought a kids’ kit that turned out to be incomplete. The owner originally offered a refund, but after I sent my Venmo info and followed up a few times, I didn’t hear back and felt really unsure about what was happening.
To their credit, they later reached out, explained the mix-up, and resent the refund right away. Turns out the issue was a typo and bad timing around a trip and the holiday. I really appreciated their honesty and follow-through once they realized what happened.
Mistakes happen, and I’m glad they took the time to make it right in the end.”
“I love and look forward to coming to the baby expo every year with my little one or friends. So many amazing and unique vendors and many local businesses. I love that there are so many activities for the keiki to do and enjoy trying tasty new treats. You also have great opportunities to enter to win prizes and giveaways. Only down side is paying for Blaisdell parking which is $8!!! I never have luck with street parking so if you so that's great for you! Admission is also about $5.50 per person so try to find coupons by following them or from flyers.”
“Great shop. Of the many shops I visited this one by far has the best quality and interesting shirts, and a few accessories. The gentleman told the story of the beginning of the shop and the purpose of recanting the stories that go along with each depiction on the shirts. He explained the natural resources used to dye many of the T-shirts. A lovely print out of the story that goes with a T-shirt was added, and when he heard my main purchase was a gift he wrapped it so meticulously and beautiful I gave it as he had wrapped it. rarely wear T-shirts. However, the women’s V-neck T-shirt I bought myself has already been worn several times. It is very comfortable. Located on the second level, a little bit tucked away, don’t miss shopping at this wonderful store.”
“This was my first time visiting this store. What caught my attention were the professional sports teams Hawaiian shirts. Of course I had to get my Dallas Cowboys. The shirt is made out of high quality material and has an athletic cut. The staff there were great. The value was rereasonable. I was able to make a selection and purchase in a short period of time. This store offers military/veteran discounts. I look forward to my next visit when I am in town.”

They provided excellent customer service by giving me the gift that I needed for my grand baby - same sale price, mailed it and even wrapped the items beautifully. Wow! Keep up the great work! “The store might not have the kind of clothes I'm out looking for, but, as a Gap brand, they carry the banner and customer service seems decent. Sales help are friendly and fairly available. Only nit is that it's got struck a strange layout, as the main entrance off the mall at Ala Moana is a stairway and escalator heading downstairs. You'd've thunk they'd've just leased space on the main mall level and be done with it rather than hassle with being a story below.”

“A great place to grab shorts in January or nice swimming trunks if you left yours at home. This Polo store has mainly Men's clothing and a whole second floor with a large selection of children's wear. If you fancy a Big Pony polo for your toddler, this is the place to get it; they had a minature version of almost every item in the Men's section. Staff were very casual and the store is entirely open to let the warm air in. Well-decorated, though no phantasmal, pedicured entrance like the Beverly Hills store. It seems like they only stock the less-recent items, though; I saw a lot of things there that I saw at a Polo factory outlet on the mainland. If you don't mind paying full price for older styles (and perhaps intend to visit Hermes next door in any case), or you're mainly looking for clothes for your kid, then this place is for you.”

“Out of all the luxury stores in the shops at Waikiki and Ala Moana Center, I have to give a shout out to Mai at C.Dior. She was very friendly and helpful and stood out among all the other luxury store employees. Everyone at Dior was very professional and made me feel welcomed. There is a wide selection of items here. Ended up purchasing a cream colored bag for my wife and a pink scarf as well. Mai showed us how to wrap the scarf around the handbag and it looked beautiful. I had to make it to a reservation and was short on time so I made the payment first and then picked up the bag in a few hours. She had everything wrapped and placed in the bag very nicely. There is a wide selection of goods here with Hawaii price and tax (around 10% difference to mainland).”

“Little hole in the wall souvenir shop in an unassuming location with the best prices I found on the island. Every size, cut, and color you can imagine. Got several shirts, magnets, and a bag. Most shirts are generic for Hawaii in general, would have liked to see more Oahu/Honolulu/Waikiki branded items, but was pleased with the overall selection.”
