“Super friendly customer service from Jonathan and Kat, as usual! this store is filled to the brim with ultra unique goodies and gifts you can only find in Hawaii. Prices are not necessarily cheap, but they reflect the quality of the store and the shopping experience you get, so it’s totally worth it. You can also take a picture with their big miffy lamp which is super fun!”

“Unique clothing store with a variety of stylish apparel. The store offers a diverse selection of cool gear, but be prepared to spend some time exploring. One drawback was the challenge of finding items in my size, as I usually wear a large. Particularly, hoodies seemed to run smaller, and there was limited availability in XL.”

“I walked in and was greeted by the friendly cashier. She told me that all the shirts are designed and printed locally. She asked if I was a tourist or if I lived here. She also asked what area I lived in and told me that they have a location at Ala Moana. I looked around the store and noticed some really cool items. They have shirts with turtles and sharks on them. They also have shirts from local eateries such as Tiki's Grill & Bar and Waikiki Brewing Company.”

“The best! We attended a traditional Hawaiian clothing seminar on a cruise given by a local, so we knew what we wanted. The store manager was incredibly helpful, and the quality and variety were amazing. This is a store where locals shop. It is a family business and not a tourist trap. We feel fortunate we found it.”

“What a great experience I had to take one star off cause I had the staff ask me if I wanted to start a pile by the resisters and I said yes. But after I checked out she forgot to add the items that I had given her to add to my order. I love the designs, and different products that are available in such a small space. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about their products”

“Ladies and gentlemen, let's take a journey through time and delve into the history of the land on which the Diesel Store Waikiki proudly stands. We're talking ancient Hawaii, my friends, a place of legends and warrior spirits! Before the Diesel Store, this land was part of the legendary Waikiki, a name that means "spouting waters" in the native Hawaiian tongue. It was a paradise of epic proportions, beloved by the Hawaiian ali'i, the mighty chiefs who recognized its beauty and strategic importance.Picture this: pristine beaches, fertile lands for agriculture, and bountiful marine resources. Waikiki was a hub of Hawaiian culture, where the ali'i would gather for relaxation, cultural ceremonies, and to partake in thrilling recreational activities. It was the place to be, my friends! Now, let's fast forward to the arrival of foreign explorers in the late 18th century. These outsiders brought their customs and influences, forever changing the course of Waikiki's history. Tourism boomed, hotels and resorts sprouted like palm trees, and Waikiki transformed into a global hotspot. And now, my friends, we find ourselves in the present day. Waikiki, once a cultural haven, has evolved into a vibrant neighborhood teeming with hotels, restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. In the heart of this paradise, we have the Diesel Store Waikiki, a modern fashion oasis that pays homage to the spirit of Waikiki's past. While the specific history of this land might not be widely known, we must honor the ancient legacy that permeates every inch of Waikiki. The Diesel Store stands tall, embodying the fusion of contemporary fashion and the enduring spirit of this coastal wonderland. It's a reminder of the rich cultural heritage that has shaped this place into the paradise it is today. So, my friends, as you step into the Diesel Store Waikiki, take a moment to appreciate not only the fashion before you but also the legacy of this land and the epic history of Waikiki that surrounds it. It's a celebration of the past, present, and future—a testament to the indomitable spirit that defines this incredible place.”

“One of my favorite places to shop at Ala Moana, this two-story store is on the Nordstrom side of the center (for your parking and navigating purposes). When I visited, the bottom floor featured their T-shirt design collaborations with local artists and brands for adults and keiki. The second floor has the complete collections of men and women’s apparel, along with the T-shirt designs of local brands.I love their high-tech self-checkout, where you just place your purchases in a bin, which automatically scans the items and lists them on the screen. Super easy - and you don’t the app to use it btw.For Lunar New Year, they had a promo of a packet of 5 red envelopes with the purchase of $50 or more!”

“Great store with excellent customer service will go back again. The sales lady helped me pick out things for my son and he loved them. Shopped there while on vacation in February.”

“Me daughter and I visited this store two weeks ago. The selection was amazing and the store was super clean and so well organized, but more importantly and most impressively was the staff. They were so friendly and super fun to talk to. I left there feeling like part of the Crazy Shirt family. If we had a Crazy Shirts in North Idaho, I’d probably submit an application to work there. We visit almost every Crazy Shirts that we come across, and this store was the best we’ve been to. They have such a great selection, and sell things that you can’t find in other stores, or even online. This store will definitely be our go to place for our Crazy Shirts purchases. Plus, it will be fun to see the staff again.”

“A HUGE MAHALO to Jen, Ashley and staff for their AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I purchased a NO SAND BACKPACK made by Of One Sea for my daughter for Christmas and upon her first use of the bag in February the top part shredded apart . I paid $95 for the bag so I wasn't feeling just taking a loss on it especially since it was a gift for my daughter and grandkids. I contacted Up and Riding and explained what happened and because the return policy for Christmas gifts ended on January 31 they called Of One Sea and reported what happened. Of One Sea also provided me with excellent customer service and sent me a brand new bag and a warranty on it as well. Since the Covid pandemic I have vowed to support local businesses which is why I shop frequently at Up and Riding . And now I have added Of One Sea to this list!!! Thank you all so much for restoring the aloha in customer service in the islands. Mahalo... see you all soon !!!”

“We grew up knowing Iida's as a child and through my adulthood, later with my child. Generations of Hawaii folks know Iida's. I was so heartbroken when they were no longer at Ala Moana Shopping Mall. I reminisce and think of shopping there whenever I pass their old corner location. I will try to make a better effort of shopping Iida's when a gift is needed, or when I need something.”

“I love and look forward to coming to the baby expo every year with my little one or friends. So many amazing and unique vendors and many local businesses. I love that there are so many activities for the keiki to do and enjoy trying tasty new treats. You also have great opportunities to enter to win prizes and giveaways. Only down side is paying for Blaisdell parking which is $8!!! I never have luck with street parking so if you so that's great for you! Admission is also about $5.50 per person so try to find coupons by following them or from flyers.”

“My deepest mahalo to Store Manager Kelsie and Staff (Tyler). They provided the best customer service to this busy grandma. They went out of their way to correct an on-line order. They provided excellent customer service by giving me the gift that I needed for my grand baby - same sale price, mailed it and even wrapped the items beautifully. Wow! Keep up the great work! True aloha! Happiest of Holidays to the gang at Soha Kahala Mall”

“I absolutely love this store. Right now due to covid, both locations are closed and all sales have moved online. They have weekly sales and promotions on their website and on Instagram. From locally produced food items, to women's clothing, face masks, and houseware everything is just really cute. Shipping is quick and all items came properly wrapped. If you need some cute gifts this holiday season, check them out. They are currently having 30% off all inventory right now! 11/12/2020”

“I would not be caught wearing anything but a Reyn Spooner Aloha Shirt! Nuff said! But I'm going to keep babbling on just for those who are unaware.....The quality is impeccable. After 25+ years of being a loyal customer, I have never had to even replace a single button yet! Have you ever seen a 50-year old Reyn Spooner shirt? Bailey's Vintage shirt shop on Kapahulu Avenue has a ton of them and they look just as great today as they did back then! My only gripe is that I sure wish that Reyn's would tailor more of their modern stuff here in Hawaii! If so, I would buy more of these as gifts for my friends on the mainland so that I could brag that this is Made in Hawaii. The iconic designs are timeless works of art. I love how the artists just make every print a joy to wear and a conversation piece at work. Some of my favorites are the ones that they reprint from bygone eras. There really needs to be a museum for these! Finally, their service is second to none. Ron and Kaori at the Kahala store, thank you for always finding exactly what I need to add to my collection. Shopping here is such a pleasant experience because of you! BRAVO for your true Aloha Spirit!”

“The store might not have the kind of clothes I'm out looking for, but, as a Gap brand, they carry the banner and customer service seems decent. Sales help are friendly and fairly available. Only nit is that it's got struck a strange layout, as the main entrance off the mall at Ala Moana is a stairway and escalator heading downstairs. You'd've thunk they'd've just leased space on the main mall level and be done with it rather than hassle with being a story below.”

“This place has great customer service and wide variety of Hawaiian shirts. I was in need of some gear to get me into the Hawai spirit and found this place on yelp. I'm glad I stopped by for the friendly experience. The lady working (didn't get her name unfortunately) made sure to provide different options and worked with me to find the ideal shirt. I appreciate she didn't add pressure into a purchase and genuinely wanted to help. I highly recommend coming here if you're in need of some Hawaiian clothing.I was surprised to see a lot of celebrity pictures on the of people who came here to get their shirts. Apparently, this is the spot to come and not surprisingly because the quality of their clothing is top quality. I am very happy with my shirt purchase and will return here for some more shirts for sure.”

“I went into the store looking for black polos for work. I normally get mine from here and I needed another one. I walked back and forth in the men’s section and didn’t spot it. A male associate failed to acknowledge me. So I asked the associate who greeted me and she directed to me to the polos. She asked what size I needed and she was flipping through the sizes looking for it. She didn’t spot it at first so she checked her iPod for inventory and it said she had 2 in stock. So she flipped through it again and found it for me! She then asked if I that was all I was looking for and I said yes. She politely walked me to the counter and rang me up with a coupon I didn’t know I had! Her dedication to find me my size is amazing. Most associates would stop looking after flipping through the stack but she went above and beyond to double check and find me what I needed. I am a manager for a retail establishment and I appreciate the service Jaycee has given me. And I hope she receives the praise that is derserved. Thank you Jaycee for helping me out!”
